Has anyone already watched Maboroshi on Japanese theaters? If yes, how was it? I'm so excited for a western release, the final trailer is so catchy 😩

Watched it on opening day. Was pretty incredible. Both story and animation were really good, altho a bit confusing at times. Would definitely recommend watching it in theatres.

@BEaSTPadwal15 can totally agree. Watched it yesterday in Fukuoka.

Animation was breathtaking at points and story was contradictory to what the other thread says not that crazy convoluted.

I understood most of what was going on with only getting pieces of the dialogue since my japanese is pretty basic.

@BEaSTPadwal15 well, that was unexpected, 😂. But thank you. Exited for the story but didn't want a love triangle to become an important factor of it. And I am assuming the daughter is the girl they met on the factory, is it?
