Eh ... not really, no. I love blame, but you put it on too much of a pedestal.

This here has so much more mono no aware, more "philosophy", more actual plot, feels so much calmer and more refined. And there are none of Nihei's signature weirdnesses. Again, I love blame - for what it is, which is just a different thing.

Do that, it's worth it. Just be aware that, apart from a few similarities, it's a very different kind of animal.

One of the most similar series to Blame! and other comics by Nihei Tsutomu is Haikyo no Meshi by mujiha.
The first chapter even has a protein bars scene (there's an old ass Blame! inside joke about Killy loving them).

Anyway, Usuzumi no Hate is excellent, I love it.

@Avvenirista

Where can you find Haikyo no Meshi? Damn, it's not even on MAL, even though it's already finished, I could barely find anything about it and the author.

Also, Usuzumi no Hate has the protein bar as well lol I was getting Blame! vibes already but when I saw the bar I jumped on my seat.

@Avvenirista Thanks. Idk if the reason it's not on MAL it's because it's from a web manga magazine, but since there's so many of their titles here already I tried adding it to the database anyway.

Bullshit!

Is not even close. I feel like I'm reading a childish version of Blame for maximum 11 years old kids.

I'm going to ignore the awful post above mine and present you two new series greatly influenced by the works of Nihei Tsutomu:
Grand Metal Organs (started serialization at the end of March in Comic Days) and Hoshi-Kui Killer IGNALO (started serialization in the April 2024 issue of Dengeki Daioh).

You can ignore it, but the truth still remain.

Thank you for this manga Grand Metal Organs, it fit in my tastes.

I don't joke.

Is a manga for kids and one boring.

Ah, now it makes sense, you've absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
Calling the series boring can still led to discussion, but this is the first time I've read someone label a series serialized on Harta ''for kids''. Pure hogwash.
