This is so underrated. Honestly, for me this show is 10/10. It has everything; interesting worldbuilding, a main character who’s motivated to do great things, a great love interest with backstory, a great cast of interesting side characters, great soundtrack, a slow burn story, from the romance to the political stuff. It deserves much more attention. The light novel is currently being published in English; the three first volumes are already published and now the fourth is coming this September, but the whole series has 17 volumes, which means 5 anime seasons. I really hope that the whole story will be covered, but this is unlikely… most of shojo series are cancelled after two seasons. And many other series deserve the fruits basket treatment, including this one.

same here I want more seasons for this anime, but this one currently running is not season 2 but part 2 of 1st season. since it doesn't have a manga adaptation I simply can't wait for more story development.

Honestly when I started watching it I thought it was going to be good but I was disappointed with the first season although I enjoyed watching and reading the comments on Friday. But this season is so much better than the first season in every way. I was just thinking how much I am enjoying this season so it’s nice to see some appreciation.

I had high expectations going into season 1 and was really let down. Due to my inability to drop anything I continued into season 2 , and have been blown away. It's everything I wanted.

Yes, it’s part 2 from season 1. So we have one season so far.

i wouldn't go as far as 10 out of 10 tbh but its def a good show, nice visuals, nice story,
there arent rly many surprises since the fact Anne would make the House's crest and the opal plot twist was absolutely obvious and everyone could see it from miles away.
other than that its a very light show to watch where we get to see a hardworking mc doing good in life, thats satisfactory enough to me. maybe my ratings are a little harsher than of urs (tgats just personal preferences) but i would give it a 7 or 8 /10

I agree with this! This anime deserves more attention. But it's highly unlikely because it's a shoujo. Most people refused to watch it.

Same, I really love this show, it's so underrated. More people should watch it l. I really recommend this show.
I wish they also complete it's novel and also most important, be faithful to it

I agree! I’m not usually into romance anime, but this one is just so different and interesting with its characters and world building! I love it!

It seems to have two manga adaptations, actually, based on the original light novel. One which ran from 2012 - 2014 and then a second one which started in 2021 and presumably is still ongoing.
