Does anyone else get tired of this trope? Shy guy can't function at all around girl. Girl is mostly oblivious on how the guy acts. I always end up watching the series in hope there is a meaningful change in the characters. Majority of the time ends with zero development watching the last episode is like watching the first. Maybe they won't disappoint me this time I hope! I'm pretty sure I'm kidding myself.

I don't really mind, if it's done well then it can be cute and realistic. As long as there's some development by the end and they are not a complete degenerate then I'll still enjoy it, though I obviously prefer if a romance has progress throughout and actually blossoms before the series ends

Will not say tired but yeh sometimes I don't like repeated trope but don't really care this time because there are different types of romance anime this year

I don't understand you, I watch an anime because I have a good time watching it, if not why would I be watching it?

If you don't like, don't watch it

Tbh I know it is a shoujo but still you just can't help but watch them right
and it has a unique art style and good share of comedy and the guy already likes her so it won't take an eon for them to just figure it out
once started we have to finish it right?

I get you, i mean yea most of ppl enjoy romance animes, but this is like getting back on start when romances included either dense mc guy or coward who are overreacting to single touch or can say one word without being flustered. Saving point of this show is animation which ppl dig in like its only important thing (example demon slayer where characters are annoying beyond back but its animation).
I'll continue watching this too hoping for deeper development but if he is scared and boring like he was this episode im dropping hard.

I am overall tired of those "boring/average boy meets lovable angel/popular girl" romcoms. This theme is so overused nowadays and those shows are so similar, that they all blend into eachother.

Yes, I agree, but this one is actually good. The anime probably isn't gonna be that great, but I highly recommend the manga, it's so fucking wholesome!

I agree and I'm also not a fan of this theme. I was worried this show would be another generic tale like that. Fortunately, at least judging from its first episode, it was different. It was actually good and wholesome.

I just hope it won't turn into "damsel in distress, but in slice of life setting" kind of story later on.

IMO it has the most wholesome and cute couple. #1 pick from all the manga/anime I've seen/read.

They're just on a whole new level.

It might get q bit repetitive if you watch 3 or more of the same genre in a row. But im fine with these

Well you can always create a new troupe cause complaining on MAL isn’t gonna do anything about something that’s been done longer than you’ve been alive.
