Oh wow...
That went from going good to going bad again.
Just when I thought my theory is becoming wrong - I guess I'll stick to it then:

Shiika is indeed the daughter of Kazuma's victim (i.e. the one who molested Kazuma's sister). She probably learned of Kazuma 2 years after being adopted by another family (hence the change in family name). I think she really understands what happened and is now atoning for her father's sin by at least becoming a replacement sister for Kazuma. Shiika is being bullied probably because people around her knew her father was a child molester.

Whether this act is of pure intentions in Shiika's part or she is somehow a psychological response for her (she might be believing she must do this atonement so that she could have the privilege of living), we are yet to find out.

In the first half of the chapter I was like Shiika is innocent and she doesnt remember that Kazuma killed her brother but boy was I wrong. I'm really curious how the author is going to play Shiika's character now, Could she really be atoning for her father's crime or is she secretly conspiring against Kazuma and plans to kill her?
Eitherway, This is an interesting read tbh.

That was interesting.

First I was a bit disappointed how Shiika seemed to not know who Kazuma is. Kazuma didn't say he killed her father (again), since she already denied being the girl. Turns out, Shiika DOES know after all. Once again, I just don't think she has evil intention though.

Didn't like how that bully girl looked at the two. She'll cause even more trouble in the future, guaranteed! She may force Kazuma to do something violent and this time he may not be able to stop.

Yeah he certainly has some anger issues to resolve. But let's not forget that the girl shoved Shiika down a railing that could've easily killed her.

I was scrolling through MangaDex trying to find a new story to read and came across this series. It only had a few chapters translated and they seemed to be coming out at a fair pace, so I decided to read it. I won't re-state the main theme of the story as it has been stated several times so far.

I have just finished reading chapter four and think there would be a couple of reasons why Shiiki would not want Kazuma to kill himself:

     1) Shiika is thankful to Kazuma for killing her father. This is a theory that I am leaning towards because I feel that if her father would rape a stranger at school then he was probably raping her at home.
     2) Shiika is thankful for freeing her from some sort of physical or mental abuse. I say this but there currently is no justification in the story so far.
     3) Shiika has truly led a lonely life and doesn't want any further harm to come to Kazuma's mother who has been there for her. This is based on the fact that Shiika doesn't want to attend school and she stops Kazuma from killing himself by explaining how it would hurt his mother. Kazumas mother has been there for her when she was in pain and lonely due to issues with people at school and the shelter.
     4) Shiika wants revenge. This would be an obvious plot as Kazuma killed her father.

The fact that at the end of the chapter, we discover that Shiika has a scrapbook about the story and writes I will see you in 5 years means that something happened two years after her father's murder that made her want to meet with Kazuma. In the chapter, it states that she went to live with relatives and they didn't get along well that's why she was in the shelter. What does that really mean? How long did she live with her relatives? Did the courts take her away from the relatives or did she run away and ended up in the shelter?

Comment on what path you think the story will go and let's continue to read and see how our predictions play out.

Well damn, didn't think she'd have a notebook with a newspaper clipping of him in it. Hopefully she genuinely wants to, and very respectfully of course, take Yuri's spot as Kazuma's sister as some means of atonement for her father's actions; and not just for some diabolical revenge plot she has.

Very curious as to what happens next.

I want to see how Shiika acts at school, why does she get bullied and why did the girls call her a pick me?

Can't wait for the next chapter, the author is really good at keeping the suspense going so far.
Tired, always tired!

So she indeed knew about him from the start huh. Wonder why she wanted to meet him? Does she have some hidden motives?

man this manga for sure is interesting. there are many possible outcomes i thought but shiika probably don't have any evil intent as far as i can interpret cause if she wanted to kill the guy and his mother she wouldn't stop him from doing suicide or it can be that she wants our mc to do something more evil which will cause pain to his mother.

With how desperate she was to want him to live, I don't think it's a revenge for her father but let's see.
