On the author: Who is Mashiro

Hi, everyone. So I've recently started to read Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru and I thought the art was familiar, so maybe it shared author with another manga, or maybe helped previously as an assistant to other manga artists. But as I'm browsing, searching for any piece of info, I realize that there is almost none information about the author, not anything besides their Twitter account. And it is almost all full of the anime adaptation. So, I'm wondering, maybe Mashiro is not their real name? Maybe Mashiro is another known artist who wanted to start afresh? Although, right now I don't have any clue as to who mught they be.

Any ideas or information I may be missing?

mashiro seems to be new but also worked on Konyakusha wa, Watashi no Imouto ni Koi wo Suru according to the wiki.

Well i don't know .. but i heard that Japan will start forcing mangakas to reveal their real identities to the public starting next oct .. so you'll know what you want to know sooner or later

I think mashiro is a woman but not sure tho, the story and design made me feel like it was written by a woman.

@Swagernator is that even a debate. The mc is the most handsome guy,the boys always cheats, the fmc can't get over her ex" Thats only a women would think about.

there’s still no confirmation on whether Mashiro (the author) is a man or a woman, but in every arc, it seems like only Akane is getting jealous, and the author keeps introducing girls to rival against her! Yamada, on the other hand, never gets jealous and is always so nonchalant.

The way Yamada is drawn is incredibly handsome, though—it definitely gives off the vibe of a female author! But then again, his nonchalant attitude is a bit of a mix... I guess a lot of women do like that type of character (though, of course, not everyone!)

tbh, I just want Yamada to get jealous already. he’s so nonchalant and always surrounded by a bunch of girls, while Akane is always the one who gets jealous and adjusts. It feels unfair, especially in the latest chapter (108) with that long phone call—ugh! I’m just ranting here LOL. I really hope the author introduces a second male lead to make Yamada jealous or even cry
