As both The Quintessential Quintuplets and Megami no Café Terrace have so many similarities, even having the same director, How likely is it that similar to TQQ it will get a second season for further character development, and then a finale conclusion and wedding??

PS: I haven't read the manga yet so dunno if the source material will provide for such a conclusion..

They aren't the same. What are you talking about...?

I suppose you are referring to the director? Satoshi directed most of Season 1 of TQQ, and Kaori replaced him much later in Season 2 as per the gossip. And the movie was directed by Jinbo..
And the same Satoshi directed Megami no Café Terrace as per the sources. So how come they aren't the same?

I mean if terms of story and characters, Cafe Terrace and TQQ aren't the same. Sorry if you misunderstood that.

I did not say they are the same, but have similarities, that are quite visible. The theme is so similar I had to check to be assured that the author was not the same.

MC takes up a responsibility (Tutoring in TQQ; Cafe Ownership in MCT), at first both parties are averse to the idea (same in TQQ and MCT), but slowly as the story progresses one by one the relationship of girls with MC changes with them falling in love with the guy (now MCT has just one season and TQQ has concluded so ignoring the pace of development). There is a love war between two contenders (between Miku and Nino in TQQ, Akane and Riho in MCT), and in the end, MC will be married to one of them.

These are to say broadly, subtle similarities such as in character development and events would be a long long discussion (and not worth it cuz of conjecture on the part of the author's mind). And I am considering the heroines to be exactly 5 to be a coincidence. And of course, the story and the characters are not the same, cuz if they were, it would be plagiarism lol.

It's a harem so it would always follow the structure of its story. Have you ever heard of Nisekoi and Bokuben? It's exactly the same. But the show really close to Cafe Terrace is Love Hina. The MC would inherit an old building or a fortune from his grandparents and suddenly that building is full of diversed heroines. The MC would put in a situation where he had a bad impression from the girls and each of them gradually would earn it. And that MC would take responsibility in managing that building that left by his grandmother. Love Hina started it all before anything else like Nisekoi, TQQ, and the others. Even the elements or troupes used like flashbacks, childhood friends, shipping wars, etc. Love Hina is old but it really is gold, especially the manga. And lastly, Love Hina >>> TQQ (a disappointment sadly).

Well that's your take, I personally find Megami no Café Terrace much more relatable to The Quintessential Quintuplets than either Nisekoi or Love Hina. The similarity you point out that the MC inherits fortune from grandparent(s) and then encounters bunch of heroines, has a bad impression and gradually earns a good view back.. Well that also corresponds to the storyline of another anime Princess Lover! which however has a very different story structure.. While watching Megami no Café Terrace, the first anime that came to my mind is The Quintessential Quintuplets.. with the major difference being that tutorship being replaced by cafe management..

And not every harem always follows the same structure.

From what I have seen, the first season didn't sell that well. Vs quints. I don't think they will move forward with a movie. So probably won't hear from this again after this season like kanojo mo kanojo

They're similar, and it's a stretch for anyone to say otherwise.

But Quints was way better. Better MC for one.
