I'd want to see an S2 as well (it's one of the more interesting fantasy/isekai titles out there, in my opinion), but reality is harsh, there's still no word on S2, so don't get your hopes up. The first season was released seven years ago, maybe there's a slim chance for S2, but with each passing second, that likelihood shrinks.

Grimgar is like a perfect sky. It came and we saw and loved it (unless you are missing a soul) and then the wind and weather changed and took it away. Treasure its memory always but it’s never going to come back. And if they tried it wouldn’t be the same now.

Don’t see a season 2 happening but this is one of my top all time shows.

For sure, it took Isekai and made it something more real and purposeful. None of that copy and paste harem level 1 - 100 crap. Wish it got more, but I’m happy with what we have.

unfortunately, if you take into consideration the time of release for the series plus the theme that was popular during that time it would be natural not to release a second season given the number of viewers many rough diamonds such as this wil never receive the credit they deserve

I actually thought it had a "proper" ending and not some unfinished story, cliff hanger crap. So I was grateful for that. Good show.

One of the most realistic takes on people being abruptly transported to a fantasy world. I'll never forget the episode where they kill a goblin for the first time, and then we all know what happens after........ Legitimately one of the most impactful moments in a show. it showed how dangerous ignorance is when your in a foreign land, and that there are stakes when combating monsters while unprepared. It's a shame it got overshadowed by all the OP God tier character based isekai that has flooded the market.

A seriously good story, and a really great anime treatment. Just rewatched it, and I was enchanted once again by the story, the visual design, the pacing, the focus on character, everything. Super well done.

Had to read the LNs after seeing the anime, and they're great too. Lots of terrific material there to continue the anime series; it's a shame no studio is willing to do so (so far). This beats the pants off of most other isekai.

I watched grimgar since 2016. Im falling in love with grimgars world. But for it to get season 2, it has been 8years and I'm losing hope, i think they will never make it. They prefer to make 2nd season of crap isekai anime. Ahh i really want to list those crap isekai anime, but people will hate me for sure
