OVAs are bundled with physical copies of something (Games , Volumes , etc.) , so they are rarely more than 1 Episodes. But it's true that ONA could stop to follow this norm , but there is not much , and it probably still help in the production. They don’t have to stick with it but with everything there needs to be rules. It’s probably easier for viewers and production teams to follow through. |

| 12 episodes easily fit to a season ( 1 season= 13 weeks) so they adapt it just for a season but it's not compulsory thing it's their choice they can choose number of episodes. |
