Am i the only one who thought thisw as an anime original?!?! This concept and animation style really makes it hard to picture the manga if watching anime beforehand

I literally didn't know there was a manga until you posted this, so yes.

Yeah I feel that for sure, I was surprised when I found out there was a manga. I also have a little bit of a similar thought process when it comes to manga centered around music (though I haven't actually read one myself yet admittedly). But I feel like as long as the adaptation of such a series is done well, the story is instantly elevated due to the heightened immersion of actually being able to hear the music, seeing as how it is an integral part of the plot.

yeah it gets kinda easy to mistake good adaptations for anime originals, especially those that have topics such as animation/mecha/music, which usually work the best in anime medium...
totally get what you mean

Definitely. I phrased that a little weird, but I guess more so what I meant was not so much that I've been surprised about different music anime having manga/light novel source material, but that I will probably never read the og versions of my favorite music oriented shows, because of the lack of audible music. And I don't say that to knock the source material or the authors, I'm sure most of it is great, just that my personal consumption preference for series focusing on music is the version with a soundtrack.

But yeah I feel like the team who adapted Eizouken really managed to inject an awesome flavor of storytelling that hadn't been seen too much before it, though I'm sure they were pulling from a solid framework from the manga.

Same. I hope you like the rest of it! The season peaks at episode 4 in my humble opinion, but the voice actors, fun characters, and unique concept were still enough to make me enjoy the remainder of the episodes.

i doubt that i can possibly like it even more: opening, scenery, amazing character design, OST, landscapes, animation and voice actors are enough of a reason to love it

Absolutely, Eazy Breezy felt like an instant classic op right from the first time I watched it.

Because the plot revolves around animation, makes sense that it would be an original anime
Nino is the objectively superior one, don't @ me
