Toshiya Oono (Shadows House) is in charge of the series composition. Yoshihiro Watanabe (Shinmai Maou no Testament) is designing the characters. The anime adapts toufu's comedy fantasy manga, which began serializing in Comic Fuz in March 2019. Houbunsha shipped the seventh volume in October 2022. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in February 2021. The fourth volume went on sale in April 2022, and the fifth volume is scheduled for a March 7 release. Zenia's swimsuit isn't extremely highleg anymore, and it also doesn't seem to be wedged between her ass cheeks anymore either, so we won't see her bare ass like the cover pic one post above. Maou's grown up body in a school uniform doesn't show any underboobs either (which honestly just looks weird in the PV). |

| People say that the character is but I have yet to actually see any official content confirm / deny it. The manga mostly avoids the topic and the character in question, when asked in one of the earlier chapters, just gives an inconclusive answer. |
