The original Gridman isn't an anime. It's a live-action tokusatsu show. You can easily find it on Youtube. I wouldn't say it's a direct prequel but it does have callbacks. |

| It isn't a prequel but I recommend atleast knowing something about the original show before viewing the anime to help the ending make more sense. |
