Edit: I had hope, & it was crushed. Very boring season.

MontBlanc Pictures maybe a random studio that most people haven't heard of, but their movie After School Midnighters is actually quite decent. It doesn't look the best, but it has a unique style. The animation is fluid, the characters are very expressive, & the camera work is phenomenal. Overall, it's a fun movie. I think MontBlanc has what it takes to create their own FLCL. Plus, it has been around a decade since After School Midnighters released; at this point, their animation techniques may have improved. If not, it at least won't probably get worse.

To be honest, I don't care who animates FLCL. I believe any team of artists should be able to tackle the challenge. I just hope MontBlanc focuses on their own interests instead of trying to merely imitate FLCL like how Progressive mostly did. People complained Alternative was too different, but I'd rather have a good show over one that can't stand on its own.

im on a bit of a hopium train with these, cause surely they wouldnt greenlight two more sequels after the last two flopped so hard without fixing the mistakes they made there.
that being said, theres no way these two are gonna come close to how good the originals were and i wouldnt be surprised if they sucked as much as the last ones

My thing is, since it'll be on adult swim, I'll watch it. Otherwise, I wouldn't be priority watch for me and this is coming from someone who loved the first once. The other two were fine at best but didn't keep up the enthusiasm abd the last one can be a their away story wise when progressive at least added it try to add to the story. I think the more this goes on and if haruko is the only remaining character, the less people will care about it. What happens with this one will determine if anyone will care about the next one next year Haruko can't keep the interest up for the series on her own

I can't believe I was even the littlest optimistic about this season. The show looks absolutely awful from the trailer.
