| When it was announced, it immediately caught my attention. I like historical stories and Chinese setting and the sort of mystical vibe to it attracts me too. Also, stories from real novels are almost always of higher quality than your general anime stuff and with this adaptation having a capable team behind it I ought to watch it. |

| I think this might have a genuine shot for my AOTS. The premise is interesting, and if builds its stories right and with good immersion, it could be really really good. Also, it seems to follow the #1 rule of supernatural shows: Don't over-explain the supernatural elements to death. They're best when they're left a mystery, and this show seems to know that (a surprising amount of shows don't). Looking forward to what this show provides! Edit: although the comedy had me a bit concerened, the rest turned out to actually be decent |
