| I liked the animation and the comedy aspects, kinda sad that the girl the main character had a crush on did him dirty like that, but the girl with the red hair was awesome, put the guy in his place when he needed it but also gave some really good advice. Also was I the only one who got Harry Potter vibes from this? They both begin with a guy who lives with his mean uncle, aunt, & cousin, then gets a letter of acceptance from this magical school his parents went to. |

In HP for example the uncle, aunt, cousin got messed up by Harry and stuff. in this nothing bad happens to his horrible foster family who have probably been treating him like shit and stealing his parents money for years except they get a nice dinner. The "bullies" or other class mates they insinuate were making fun of him and the girl who may have been leading him on while living another guy don't really have anything happen to them. All they saw was some people walk in and him leave. They didn't say anything about him getting into the school they wanted to get into or do the thing of her acting like she's with him to make the guys jealous. They saw a girl walk in, change his clothes, call him Ricardo and leave......if I was there I'd just go "dafaq was that.....meh" back to the party.........don't go half way on your revenge backstory is all I'm saying. they gave us so much they could have worked with.....hell he was catfishing his prick cousin!!! the cousin doesn't even know! |

But why even do this half-hearted HP or highschool drama revenge story when there is no payoff! yeah give us more details about why him and what up with parents or what going on in the world if your not even gonna give us real revenge payoff. have the foster parents upset they are no longer get any money from him and now have to live in debt and give back their fancy clothes. Have the asshole cousin find out the MC has actually been catfishing him the whole time. Have the douche classmates actually know he got into the college they wanted to goto and he's now going overseas to a fancy rich college, he'll have that bully that took his girl try and get them to reconsider him instead only to be turned down and that girl he was pinning for find out oh this guy actually doesn't love me and the guy I was kinda stringing along is out! ugh rant over. morale don't go down the troubled life for MC route if you not gonna give the viewer any payoff on the revenge..... instead give us other shit that matter more. |
