i can't handle their voices, EVEN FOR AN EPISODE!!! idk what about it annoys me, but this has gotten me to the point of dropping the show entirely

Yeah, i get your side of the argument (although its too little to be considered one). Its just that humor hits different based on various factors and i might have had past experiences which made this scenario annoying...

Well, it's a little uncomfortable to me seeing/hearing that trope to be honest. yet what actually annoys me & get on my nerves more is the stereotypical way of showing foreigners in Anime! ๐Ÿ˜…

(making them ALWAYS blonds ๐Ÿคฆ, speaking in weird Japanese accent & even weirder English/whatever native language they have! ๐Ÿ˜…, always obsessed with everything Japanese in a very creepy way sometimes ๐Ÿ™ˆ..etc)

I know they do that for comedy effects and so, and sometimes it's funny, but over using that all the time makes me facepalm & sighs while watching!๐Ÿคท

Oh! it's not really a problem if they were speaking Japanese in their own accent ( be it American, Italian, Egyptian.. etc)
I totally agree that mastring new language, let alone learning it, is really difficult & every bilingual is trying their best speaking that new language & all efforts are respected ๐ŸŒท

but I guess the thing here (& in any other anime that have foreigners in it) is that they're always showing them speaking "perfect Japanese sentences & structures" but in that same typical weird accent๐Ÿ˜… as if all non-japanese people are the same & speaking the same way or as if foreigners have a unified language!
& while at the same time seem like they don't know how to speak their own native language whatsoever!๐Ÿ˜…
that's a technical issue & stereotypical way of voicing foreigner characters, and hearing that over & over is annoying I guess.

This kind of voice acting when foreigners appear in a show has sadly become a standard so it doesnt phase me anymore. Its stupid the voices of foreigners are depicted this way but its always like that so gotten used to it.

Bruh this show before the appearance of Sara and her dad was rated around 7.94 , ever since they appeared the rate fell to around 7.75 .. i can see why people don’t like them their English speaking are annoying af especially Sara , i know they’re “ Americans “ in Japan , but still they could do better with their voices

It's a running joke there, it's the accent of "gaijin who speaks Japanese".
