| What a lovely way to overpower Li Yao's black god armor. A 1,000 year old spirit fruit Willow Heart is all it took for Luo Feng to catch up to Li Yao and Cattelan's spirit level. Such a stunning breakthrough and one sided fight toward the end of this episode. I wonder if Luo Feng plans to consume the 10,000 year old Willow Heart and if there are side effects what would they be. So far the island has had an underground labyrinth, thousand year spirit trees, and certainly over 100,000 year old guardian defending the island. |
| After using the 1,000 year old Willow Heart, that he kill stole Ninja looted from Cattelan and the other 3 Bolinas family War Gods, Luo Feng achieves a breakthrough! With his new found power, he chooses to AGAIN kill steal the Bolinas family's 10,000 year old Willow Heart, thus cementing his descent from morally upright hero into a morally reprehensible less but powerful thief whose power now comes at the cost of "using" others instead of using his own power to take things with his own hands. I don't like him anymore. But my completionist mentality will mean I have to finish watching at least this segment of the series. Sad, because I used to enjoy this a lot more but now, it's ... lost its way and I can no longer root for him. Why did they have to ruin his character? He went from underdog I wanted to see succeed, to a power hungry MC I now hate more than that glass breaking father. What a heel turn. |

| In the thread of the previous episode I said he is probably not keeping the willow heart for himself and well, that aged badly... I'm kind of confused about why they make Luo Feng so overpowered when we're only halfway through the second season. We still got a lot of episodes coming and he is already stronger than most people in this series! He is also getting an attitude, like don't tell me he wants to use the 10.000 year old willow heart too... That would be a little too much, no? |
