| Kakegawa Weed's manager Kazuhiro Hiramatsu is a Shoot! mainstay, though to beat them with 9 players sounds like a worthy challenge enough to avoid being shut down. Yay drama. The last chance for Kakegawa High, and the match is underway. Of all the inspirations from Hideto, it has to be his NEET personality that gives him the edge. Unfortunately, Jo is still the reckless player that is a simpleton with the right concept but terrible execution. The players that have learnt from their coaches, it's an extension of the team dynamics, and even going as far as to being Sonoda and Sahara back to complete the 11-player team back again, the challenge amps up, even going as far as to have that temporary Blue Lock flare, only done in a cringe-worthy manner. Despite having a draw, that's enough to get things going, and this is the first step for Atsushi Kamiya's new Kakegawa Eleven. Guess a new original shit story can't save things now... |

| Great episode! They have to play against Kazuhiro Hiramatsu's team and only with 9 players! I'm happy the two came back to play on the team and Tsuji scored! The last goal where Tsuji and Jo both headed it in the goal made me laugh a lot though. It was very unrealistic... Well, it was a draw and it seems the football club will stay! Looking forward to the next episode! |

| It's pretty much the same as every other high school sports anime... they hate each other, they have superhuman sports skills, they start becoming friends... and i am once again a goddamn sucker for it! loving this so far that being said, the animation and soundtrack is super good, and im loving the 90s integration! excited to see where this goes~ |
