| Curious to see how this story tackles the price of gold, because 80,000 is just beyond ridiculous. If we're talking 1 oz 0.999 fine standard gold coin sizes, with gold being around $1800/oz at today's spot price - that's $144,000,000.. just to retire? Of course most historical gold coins were usually minted with some sort of hardening alloy, because gold is soft and makes a bad circulation metal currency on its own. Most coins were in the 0.7 to 0.9 range purity. So let's say these are 1 oz coins with 0.7 purity - that's still about $100 million. I don't know if there's something chemically off about the gold from the other world or what, but the impression I get is that it sounds like the author doesn't have an idea of what they're writing about. |

I've held 1/10 oz gold coins and they are very tiny - like the size of dimes. The big silver dollar sized pieces are worth 10x that, and that's what she is shown holding roughly. |

| Looking at the novel, it was written in 2017. The spot price of gold back then was about $1260/oz. How things have changed. Still calling the purity of those coins into question, because 50% for a big piece still seems like a stretch. |
| This is classic funa sensei. All their work start out interesting but lose steam and become mindless so just accept this as 1 time season and don't expect for any sequels. They're probably busy writing a new isekai book lol. Average, potion, yen, all garbage tier. |
