IS there a behind-the-scenes/real life reasons for this? (HEAVY SPOILER)

This is gonna be a very spoilery question so, don't click if you haven't watched yet/are in the middle of watching it.

So yeah, I'm just really curious if it's a production related decision or if it's just really the path they chose to take.

Idk if there was any specific reason for it, or if thats just the direction they wanted to take it, but I was disappointed as well. I really liked her character, and thought she was gonna be part of the main cast all the way through. That’s what kept me from giving it a 10 tbh.

her boyfriend abused her so she had to leave. It felt sudden because it was sudden. She had to make a sudden quick change of plans to get out the situation she was in. I didn't think it was bad though I thought it made sense. And I don't think the lady moving in was rushed either because its normal for people to move in a vacant apartment that quickly.

I think that's one of the things that made this show good : it is realistic and harsh... Because she needed to go and she doesn't come back, because people don't, or at least, not frequently, maybe she's gone to a very very far place ?
