When eren from "Attack on Titan" said "Where would I go if I didn't have my friends." I was wondering if this meant that he personally understands and accepts his duties as a survey corp have been abolished.
It was shown in one of the episodes that eren went against his grandfather (John Yeagers) teachings as the series progressed.
Any help is appreciated

I don't think if there is any hidden meaning behind this sentence, it is as straight as it sounds that what would he be able to do if he loses the only precious thing he had — his friends.

Pretty sure that was Obito from Naruto who said that. Cuz Kakashi said that to team 7 and their were backstories of obito and yeah he said to kakashi

Bruh, I don’t even think his first name was given in the anime 😂. If the theme of friendship was emphasized as a really big point I probably wouldn’t like the show as much.
