That being said VS had large following before an anime and a massive following after the first season. This series has no active fan base and it is relatively new 2020 to 2022. The director and staff will have to be TOP NOTCH in order for people to pay attention to this Adaptation and Manga. I really really hope it goes well. Yes I have read the chapters that are translated , 50 chapters so far. It maybe doesn't have a large following, but Chi is a critically acclaimed manga in Japan. Consistently placing high in numerous manga awards and even got grand prize for the recent Osamu Tezuka cultural awards. Hopefully with a good anime adaptation, it'll create a good following. It's just too damn good in my opinion to be ignored. |

| Simply put: Usually we wait for official Japanese sources. That's pretty much the only official sources we take from. (There are exceptions tho, like if it's a Crunchyroll or Adult Swim thing and they are the first one to post the news or it comes from conventions like Anime Expo for example.) EDIT: good timing btw, the news is official now its coming soon. |
