Might be hard because this anime feels incredibly underrated. But this year is a year of miracles so we have to believe in Mappa sharing some good news with us.

For now, I think this anime was like idaten dieties. It was just a project for MAPPA to earn a few more money for future projects. Like Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen S2, Hell's Paradise and AoT Final Season Part 3

Have not watched the last episode yet - enjoying it later. Loved the anime so far. And I t hink it was fitting for MAPPA - they are good at original works (or at least where they originally make the plot/story) - and for such adaptions. (Modern setting, no fantasy stuff.)

I did like the other adaptions less. You raelly thinkg it is something to make money for other projects? Doens't it feel more like a niche anime ... that would cost more and earn less ... compared to other projects? Shingeki should have earned them a ton though.

I hope the last episode at least was not anime-original here - then we can still hope. A lot more things seem to get further adaptions ... nowadays. As compared to years ago.

?? You think studio does free adaptation without any profit lol ofc
they will be earning money but they have a lot then you can imagine . Dance dance danseur wasn’t really a money making show compared to attack on Titan and jujutsu kaisen .
What’s with this absurd presumption on DDD profit will help them in investing in their future projects but that’s not how it works .
Chainsawman is totally different from the series you have mentioned along with . Mappa is funding chainsawman with their own money sitting in production committee of csm whereas for attack on Titan, Jigokuraku and jjk production committee are totally different where Mappa has a little part to play in production committee.

Nope. Maybe if sales were good, but considering that this show got barely any noticable coverage or people caring about it, not to mention mappa not investing into the show, and the director working on Zombieland saga's movie as we speak, it'll be unlikely we'll see the guy make a season 2 for at least another year.

Shocked you even want a season 2. Only 2 months ago you had some very weird takes about how much you hated the MC.

And chances are low for a season 2. I hope there is though. i really enjoyed this anime.

For anime original the studio itself does funding and there are some adaptation where studio itself fund by taking a place in production committee. It’s rare when studio itself funds for an adaptation when they have enough money to do it and they even need to think about the profit making out from that particular adaptation they are funding if it’s a blunder then they will have a serious blacklash.

I think studio original's is a different case, as the biggest part of funds for an anime come from producers. Only big studios like KyoAni can fund productions (I mean, even Madhouse on it's best days was bankrupt). But studio original's depend entirely on screenwriters as the product has no fan base at all, and so, producers are not so eager to invest on them. Of course, if you have a big name in your team, like Yuasa or something, then that's a different story.

Personally and from what I've seen there tends to be a rather negative correlation between disliking the MC and characters and continuing to watch a show. Never mind asking for more of it. Not sure what you're expecting from this question.

I mean, the director didn't deliver a season 2 for some of the other series', what makes you think MAPPA is going to make a second season for this show instead? It's got no sales, and no one was watching it in comparison to literally any other show.
