Is there enough content for a season 2?

Show is apparently doing well on the streaming sites in Japan, so I feel like a season 2 could be happening. Plus it's a genuinely good show that I'd be happy to see another season, don't know how far in the LN's they are though, or whether there's enough for a season 2.

I mean if it's like every LN adaption and only adapts about 4 volumes per 12 episodes it should have enough. the way things are going it seems like it will end on a cliffhanger or just when things start going down. however, i do not see this show getting a second season, since neither studio did a sequel season and the actual story itself is rather boring and kinda meh

I don't know if I would call date a live boring. trashy? yes, but idk about boring. it has too much shit going on to be boring. I'm not even a date a live fan, i like kurumi and the date a bullet movie.

this show on the other hand is painfully generic. it is the epitome of op mc isekai, luckily it's production is much better than normal op mc isekais. the SA scenes are a little out of place and it treads a little close to Goblin slayer sometimes.

being generic isn't a bad thing, isekai genre itself is filled with generic rehashed content, its just generic usually doesnt get multiple seasons unless it's stupid popular or a passion project.

I would much rather a fresh isekai like executioner getting a season 2 than this generic isekai getting one, but you never know peak trash isekai smartphone got a season 2

Anyway, Date A Live was interesting to me. So there...🙂

Season 2? I hope so!

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

They've taken their time with this season, which has covered the slavery arc, slavery arc ends at more or less chapter 20 of the manga, the manga is at chapter 49 currently, plenty for a second cour or second season.

I would say there enough for 1-2 more season depend on how the strecht the story.
Also it still funny to me that the fan and publisher force author to continue writing when he found here an interest place to end the story, mostly cause mc problem is still not solved
