I really do not understand. There are even more ratings of 1 point than 9 or 10. Why is that? I looked and I liked it. Or am I missing something?
Explain in detail, if not difficult.

I thought the second season was a disappointment is all. I was exited for episode one but after what followed it wasn't that interesting for me anymore. some people said they skipped parts in the manga too idk

well comparing it to season one was like comparing between trash and diamond, season 2 didn't really had my attention because of the story and all the confusion it did.

The anime was a disaster, there is nothing that makes sense in it or has any ties to the manga, character inconsistencies run wild and the most damming aspect is the absolute insult of a PowerPoint presentation for the last episode, a lot of people would have this season deleted and pretend it never happened. It 100% deserves it's score. Read the manga if you liked s1, although some people dislike that ending too, that's why the story was changed, rushed and turned into a mess.

It skipped 90% of the manga and ended with a slideshow of pictures showing those arcs with zero context as to what was happening. Oh, and Phil was never that big of a character in the manga. Some of the most important characters in the manga never even existed in the anime.

So, manga reader here. Second season was literally shit. They just completely skipped 2 (or even more) of the most important arcs, they didn't include my 2 favorite characters (rip yugo and lukas) and this season was just complete shit. Even though I didn't like the ending of the manga (which is still WAY better than the anime) this is such a disappointment. the first 2 or 3 eps were alright, perfectly alligned with the manga. The rest? Absolute shit.

in comparison to the highly anticipated arc that was coming up, what we actually got was a bloody disgrace.

on top of that, the ending of s2 was a slide show presentation. of course fans would be mad.

so much potential was thrown away and it was a massive step down from s1.

I think it's because it strays away from what made season one so awesome. It doesn't give me that horror-thriller vibe I got from the first season.

Because most who watched it had higher expectations which I don’t blame them for but in the end what happened was inevitable.

It also wasn’t bad as many claim but indeed it had some flaws which was due to the tight schedule that was given to the staff.

The pacing was garbage, the characters felt like a downgrade, the plot wasn't as good and the ending was just insulting.

Because they wanted to wrap up as quickly as possible + the story wasn't even that good towards the end. The fuckers even included a "My mother's name is Martha too" type of situation.

The main reason is that if you had read the manga you know they skipped a favorite arc of readers which created a huge upset. So if you're curious just read the manga

Season skip many arcs from the manga. One of them being the Golby Pond Arc which I consider one of the best arcs in the series.

Basicaly it was a extremely bad adaptation that was extremely rushed and the anime could’ve had enough material for like another 3 seasons but they cut out a ton of it and made this dumpster

I read the manga and in comparison it’s just hot garbage. They skipped over A LOT of background info and important scenes and just went straight to the most important stuff in the anime, so it felt super outta place. And everything they did just felt like plot armor instead of it being built up like in the manga

iss really disappointing ,the manga has a whole amazing history and the anime made a new and bad version of that,they omitted so many arcs that the history doesn't even makes sense Besides the manga has an interesting plot and a barely good end is really disgusting the way the animation house change the hole history,also they omitted yuugo and Lucas 😢and their whole arc

They skipped over so many important things, and they showed the last arc or whatever as a slideshow instead of actually animating it. It’s not that it was necessarily bad, but just wasted potential and a big let down
