Shaman King was a huge disappointment and I don't see them changing the way they do things. In all honesty we all know what to expect from this and it might be better to not watch it in the first place.
Stop the sequels high-ranking stupidity.
Group franchises in Top Anime page.
Because Gintama is just "one" anime and not 5.

This won't be like Boruto. The industry has long ago passed this border of making fillers. Nobody does this (except Boruto, lol. Because it's just squeezing everything from what's left of the quite mediocre Naruto universe. Let's call it a blast from the past that does not want to leave yet). This probably will be a 12-13 or 24-25 episodes series (probably with Red Crimson, etc. being animated, like FT did with Zero), and then we'll see another pause until they will start animating The Super Star.

It’s the fate of every sequel to be a lesser version of the og. This will have some good stuff as well and a decently long, ongoing story (so more to adapt for us). I think it would’ve been dope to see some of the other spin-offs like Zero the prequel or Marcos with Marco though this was the obvious choice. Plus there’s a decent amount of chance that this can be hopefully less pressed for time in the chapters per episode given that it’s ongoing. Maybe if this is popular we can see more of the spin-offs adapted. Hyped to see more Shaman King regardless!

I am excited I actually preferred flowers to the original even though it got cut short, not sure on super stars even though it is a continuation of flowers hopefully they fill the gap between the 2 with this

I will skip this. I am tired of these next generation sequel-spinoffs.

I dunno what's even going on. Lol. I have watched some bits of Shaman King but got no further than ep10...so I don't know what to expect. I have to continue the series (but I find that difficult, there's nothing more that is interesting to me), and then follow up on this.

btw, FYI: Boruto started publishing in 2016, and SK Flowers started publishing in 2012. So who was "next generation sequel spinoff" first? Stop talking nonsence, Shaman King is nothing like Boruto. Just read it and you'll like it.
And there definitely won't be any fillers in this. As I said, the industry has long ago passed this line. Nobody does this nowadays. Boruto and One Piece are the only dinosaurs from the past left.

This is a continuation. I don't think it's a spin-off. I think it's following the sequel manga.

Exactly because Shaman King 2021 was disappointing, I think this will redeem it's failure and breath some life in to an old beloved series. Which is what we should have gotten in the first place, in stead of this 2021 re-make.

If it really was a failure, it coulldn't receive this continuation. It is a result of ratings, fan support, etc. And the opinion that counts is the opinion of Japanese people, obviously. Studios don't care if some guys on foreign forums say that this anime is shit, all that matters if the opinion of their own audience.
That's why we still can't get continuations of many great shows (which we redeem as great, but Japanese watchers don't think so, so hereas the result)

Guy who didn't read it: [Makes innacurate assertions and/or "It's a sequel so it's literally BORUTO"]
Every single time without fail. Hilarious because FLOWERS and especially Hana himself have existed since way before Boruto and his series did too.

Btw, a lot of people go into Mankin's sequel works expecting Yoh content but they forget he already had a whole series for himself. Go into FLOWERS/TSS for the sake of getting into the real meat of that world, for the intrigue and discovery, not for nostalgia. Also, to an even higher degree than in the original, FLOWERS/TSS are filled to the brim with nothing but Takei's favorite things-including all of his hyper-specific nerdy fixations-so if you fail to see the appeal of his wacky ways that means either you've outgrown Mankin or it was never for you.

Boruto isn't bad because it has fillers.

Honestly the problem with the Shaman King reboot was that the beginning was very rushed like Tokyo Ghoul S2, however from episode 34 or so i'd say the pacing and animation becomes very good.

But this is coming from someone who watched the old Shaman King and still knew most of the story & backstories. They really f'ed up the beginning and gave no backstories for anyone and just rushed everything until the point the old anime went non-canon. Honestly i think i would've dropped it at episode 8 or something if this was my first entry to SK, but i'm still happy to see they remade the anime and i could watch the ending (this was actually the second ending, the first one was so weird/bad the author had to change it) animated.

Well, I just finished the 2021 series, I didn't like it at first but kept watching it.

I didn't like the last episodes in the manga, but in the anime I actually liked that. It even rekindle my love for the series.

I also read a lot of Flowers some years ago, and I felt it was really crappy, but the last episodes of the reboot series gave me some hope than this could be worth a try.

Liked Shaman King's reboot despite its flawed, the end product had a nice message and wasn't just generic shonen content so that was a major plus for me. If it had better pacing and animation it honestly could have been A tier, but as we all know that wasn't the case. Haven't read Flowers so I'm cautiously optimistic, but the cover art has me hopeful that it will actually have substance and be interesting unlike boruto lol.
