one of the most underrated mangaka in the west?

I noticed a trend with this mangaka,
most of his works (karakuri circus, ushio no tora , Gekkou Jourei etc) are extremely long running and well serialized with high reader reviews in japan, and is quite popular there,
however in the west, it seems that not a single person knows a single thing about any of his works and none of them have been known much at all, even when a few of his works did get an anime,
its like all of his works are glossed over, am i the only one who thinks this? im confused to how some manga artists get super popular while some don't.
for example i know shounen jump artists basically almost always gets popular no matter what, vs other magazines, but sunday is still a bit popular as well, with
a few series like inuyasha, and magi having a cult following , and also more recently komi san and Sousou no Frieren getting a huge explosion in popularity for seemingly no reason,

im still trying to find out what makes a manga popular or at least well known, is it just lack of advertising?

Finally someone aknowledges the greatness of FujitaGOAT.
I guess it's simply cuz Jump has Dragon Ball and the big 3 among several other iconic Manga that it's ridiculous therefore it's easier to get a hit in Jump.
