This Anime adapted Chapters 01 to 42 of the Manga, while skipping none of them.
It did cut some content, especially in the later episodes, but it's still acceptable.
This adaptation is, adaptation-wise, not that bad, but the production quality is wobbly. (Animation, Voice Acting, Soundtracks...)
It also took the liberty to reveal informations about the past of the main characters much earlier, little by little each episode, and removed interesting details, especially in the last 3 Episodes.
Thus, i vividly recommend reading the Manga instead to those who didn't started the Anime yet, and to do so from the beginning for those who did, you will surely appreciate the art of the Author, especially her numerous beautiful artworks.
The Manga is completed, and officially licensed in English by Yen Press.
For those interested in the artworks of the Author, you can take a look at her Pixiv.

Damn thats some great info. It has been one of my most favorite Josei manga for a while so I will check out the anime later on but its sad to hear that the some later episodes skipped a lot. I mean the manga got pretty interesting in the later parts.
If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.
I'd there any official sayings if they plan to adapt rest of the Chapters into Anime. I really really liked the Anime. I'll read where Anime stopped but will not after that. I'd honestly be sad if there wasn't gonna be S2 officially.

Nothing was announced , but it seems quite unlikely...
The Manga is about to end , so i really don't expect them to announce a 2nd Season now.
Plus , they could have made 2/3 more episodes for this Season to finish the Arc of Donny , before doing a 2nd Season with the next one , so it doesn't hint toward a continuation of the Anime.

Updates : One year and a half later, i re-watched this Anime, and i took the opportunity to redo this thread.
The title and header have been cleared, and i added more explanations.
Notes were completely re-written and re-structured to be easier to read, without going too much in-depth.
Some details i had missed during the airing of the show have also been added.
