Is this show getting better?

When I started Orient with my friend, I thought it was very bad. I had it rated at a 4 until the last two episodes. The story was boring and weird. But what happened? Episodes 7 and 8 were actually really interesting and it seems like this show is turning around. I actually have it at a 6 right now. Let me know what you think

I think it got slightly better than the initial episodes but it's still super average. Rn I could give this a 6 at most. The show has only been your typical battle-shonen cliche one after the other. I don't think this is necesarilly bad if well executed but orient is just the definition of average, it doesn't have a single thing that makes me thing "this is cool" or "this is orient", it doesn't have a slightly bit of identity. On top of that, the animation is as cheap as it can be, I don't ask for KnY level of quality but at least something decent. The manga art is more appealing than the anime visuals and the only thing that I can genuily call good in this anime is the OST.

It's very generic and honestly, mediocre at best.
Does not deserve to be below 6.0 tho.
I personally find it quite acceptable.

This show is total flop bro later in the manga they just compare each other n i know wat the fuck is going on .. the yellow guy leave him at 1st i hate this type of anime.. if you compare it with magi .. magi is lot better

Its one of those anime that really goes slow. the first 4 or even 5 is just boring, but episode 6 - 8 it slowly turns around. But overall its mediocre, not a good one, but not a bad one either. So I'll stick with it.

Yeah, I think progressively getting better each week, like how the manga was around this point in the series. Now, I don't think the anime is great but it is respectably average now in my opinion, which is an improvement from the beginning of the series.

It's not bad even though, it's not too original but personally, been enjoying it. I really like our trio main characters. They are quite the fun bunch and there are motorcycles.

Well, it's still not comparable to many of the big boy shounen, but it definitely turned up.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

We're one episode away from finishing the season and I feel like hardly anything has happened, or at least hardly anything of real significance has happened. This show still feels like it's in it's diapers, shitty diapers at that. It's one of the most 5/10 shows I've ever seen.

i've enjoyed it from the start. thought it was an interesting (potential) plot and found the mc entertaining

i'm only ~8 episodes in though. and it's admittedly not presenting anything "new" or "thought provoking". but i watch shows to be entertained. and i've been entertained. so i can't complain

It's a Shinobu Ohtaka series, Magi while obviously having a much better start, also took a long time to actually become the masterpiece it became, the thing is that Magi manga had A1 Pictures behind it for the anime, in my opinion Orient is a very good example of how much impact a great animation can cause on people's perception, with good animation this would be at least in the 7 score range.

Exactly because it took it seven episodes to get good, is the reason I'll be giving it a 4/10.
I'm the type that prefers the first half of an anime to be good and don't care if the second half tanks. All an anime needs is to hook me in, even if it can't reel me in.
