Why did no one tell me how good this anime is?

I was searching for a decent Isekai and found this anime. I thought it would be a bland anime with bland characters and a bland story. First thing I noticed was the horrible animation and based of the first episode, I thought it would also have a bad story but I kept watching it. And to my surprise the anime exceeded my expectation by far. It has hyperbolly one of the best Isekai stories. Now I'm caught up and I'm looking forward to new episodes

I mean it's pretty good but there's definitely better

edit: you don't seem to have seen honzuki/ascendence of a bookworm, go watch that.

I mean... I saw the first season but now its just meh for me. It doesnt give that much joy to watch but hey I already watched s1 so I cant just leave it at that point

I won’t say it’s good, but I do enjoy watching it for the most part. I’ve enjoyed the second season more than the first, as well. I’m a little behind, though. But the negotiation episodes were good.

you can check out Log horizon. It also focuses on the problems of the isekai world. Politics,economy etc

I'm sorry but other shows like Log Horizon did it better.

It's good for a first watch as a newbie into anime, but as a veteran, there're defo better Isekai shows out there.

This was sadly written off by many people as just another bland isekai but instead it has some of the most in depth world building of any isekai

I can safely say it is average, the politics is surface level enough that anyone can understand it and it has a harem or hints to it since all the females gravitate to MC. pretty standard stuff

Avarege score of this anime is betwen 7-8 from 16000+ votes. But you see only one good review on page, rest are just people who hate what they dont like. The explanations in anime are pretty acurate, and no, noone represents exactli old scholars in politics and economy as it was in their age. The world changed so the explanation of the wisdoms adapted. Anime political and economical fantazy. What whould you change if you knew future, yet you needed adapt to supernatural spinof. And main charakter and his girls are all shy as hell. Somthing on the level of Pirates of caribic. I saw her enkle, if you whould be silent you whould see more :D Also teachings of many are misused like marx, komunist took what they wanted and ignored rest.

Simple, because it isn't good, plain and simple, I've watched two episodes of this season and I'm already thinking of putting it on hold. This season is pure trash. The second episode takes the cake with the hole "differences" between the races of demons/monsters and of course the strong wahmen trope with Jeanne Euphoria, and the misandry galore!
The first season was already trash, this season will reach dumpster fire level.
To be avoided.

Season 1 was just okay for me, the premise is interesting, But with below average animation it does not give me a lasting impression. 7/10 for season 1

Season 2 even with no actual fight scene. But when the characters just talk about politics and economics It somehow become interesting to me. and the plot twist at the end is a nice touch. 7.5/10 for season 2.

Nah, let's not kid ourselves.

Quite literally the animations are very little in this season. Most of the times, it's just talking. Nothing about the static images were breathtaking either...
