| Still don't see why they need to use so much CGI for the blood. Their 2D blood looks good. Not gonna lie, the whole Rumbling animation felt very cheap. And Jesus, that running animation for Eren was... something else. I loved the music when Ymir was being chased though. |

| I like how the title of this episode is in complete contrast to the one we had of the very first episode. Well just one of those AoT things. Now speaking of the episode itself, finally Ymir's backstory. And saying it's still the most tragic one we had in this franchise won't be an overstatement. Really liked the way those characters were depicted, that artstyle. And finally Eren the man, Eren the saviour and now the founder too. Let the rumbling begin… First demon slayer and now this, give breathing space you guys. |

| <insert "This is Cinema" - Martin Scorsese meme> Is this what it feels like to be an anime fan? Getting nothing short of pure epicness every single Sunday. Once again, I've no words to describe AOT this week as well since the episodes have been nothing but greatness. Kaji Yuki's voice acting was just mindblowing. Ymir's backstory was very painful and emotional and was masterfully directed. Some censorship was there, for obvious reasons, we'll get it uncensored in Blu-ray. Then, the whole Eren speech was just beyond incredible. Goosebumps all over my body. OSTs were beautiful and impactful as well. Poor Ymir. T_T What an epic episode. This episode was perfect in every sense, shape, or form. 10/10. Animation, god-tier. Incredible job, MAPPA, and the staff. |

| I almost have no words. This episode was fucking insane! From the music, Titan rampage, Ymir's will, and all the drama, you know this episode bought some of the most intense scenes in the franchise. Just absolutely crazy after all the buildup that lead to this. |

| Kino episode. One of my favourite chapters finally gets the adaptation it deserves. Every moment of watching this. What can I say? From shitty CGI to Goated execution is everything this anime deserves. Ymir's backstory was something of a good read when I was reading the manga. The beginning of everything. The poor girl's life was nothing but a slave. Sad, and everything in this episode conveyed that well imo. This is all golden stuff. In the endgame now tho, time for some rumbling action to come down. | hmm episode 3 by Omine is still the best so far that damn centipede finally appeared and its in 3DCG there it is Eren became the villain since he will destroy the world or do world genocide Ymir and Eren be like "lets get ready to rumble"  |
| Damn, MAPPA is really selling this well! Some of the facial expressions this episode were nothing short of fabulous! Honestly, the whole thing felt choppy in the manga and, while it didn't feel the smoothest in this version either, I must say that this adaption definitely made it a lot more better to follow. Armin's reaction from "Oh, yes!" to "Oh, no!" plus Eren's confession in the end really said it all. Protagonist of the show, last I checked... Ymir's past was tough to bear unfold and that king really deserved worse but well. A lot of disturbing moments here and there (daughters eating, for one, will definitely go down as a special mention) but the vibe as a whole was well handled, imo. |

| Truly one of the greatest episodes ever made. I've heard that a lot of animators highly praised today's episode and I can only say that they spoke facts. Episode was soley directed by Hayashi. Eren's VA almost lost his voice screaming in today's episode and he delivered an amazing act. Ymir's past was incredibly well done and this just puts up to another 10/10 episode. |

| To this day I'm still in absolute awe at the fact that all of us, manga readers included, got all this spoiled FIVE YEARS AGO in the S2 ED and none of us even knew. That's some unparalleled foreshadowing. Fantastic episode that answered so many questions. THE RUMBLING IS COMING.' And once again shout out to the VAs, the work they put in for each episode is incredible. Their talent is unmatched. |

| I WAS FUCKING HERE EVEN WITH HIGH EXPECTATIONS THAT ACTUALLY BLEW MY MIND. Genuinely think this is best episode of the series. I'm still shaking that was insane. The ost, the animation, the voice acting man everything was great. I think they got WIT to do some of the backgrounds and modified their collosal cg cuz it looked amazing. FUCKING WELL DONE. |

| Legendary episode! The paths scene gave me goosebumps fr. The final frame wasn't the best but I don't even mind lol. The CGI colossals look pretty good. |

| And... it's finally here! The wall titans started to move! Great episode, but I still don't understand the Ymir backstory part where those 9 titans came when there were only 3 children, but doesn't matter. :D Omg, I was so much looking forward to the moment of walls falling down and Eren talking to subjects of Ymir in the Paths and mappa did it amazingly for my taste! 10/10! |

Solid narrative adaptation of what was left of chapters 121, 122 and the end of 123, but the animation was quite inconsistent. I liked how the end of King Fritz's speech in Ymir's backstory was cut by Eren screaming at Ymir in path even if it did feel a bit jarring. So the rumbling finally starts. CGI titans like most expected but with the dust and lighting it didn't look bad in this episode. It might be a different story later on during clear and sunny days. They censored Ymir being eaten tho :) |

| Great episode overall! But the scene with Eren and Zeke before the op look a bit stiff, I love Ymir backstory thought that was done well. Wasn't expect the Eren speech to be just a panel, thought they would have animate him talking, a bit disappointed in that not going to lie... But overall everything else looked great and they did a great job with the collosal titans, I was really worrying about how it would look but the cgi wall titans looks great. |

Or when Reiner says to eren sleep, and in the manga you had a whole sequence of panels of eren looking at Reiner, while in the anime you don't even notice that? Or today where, leaving aside the multiple still images, the final freaking image of eren, from panel 123 is the manga panel with green colored eyes? Yeah, the people directing and SB this Show at Mappa suck. They don't understand what breathing time is. (imagine Reiners reveal). Sometimes you need a bit of time and build up, in order to creat memorable moments (Eren transforming vs Annie in trost). They will butcher 131 freedom panel, the 130 it's the attack titan. Araki IS A GOD |

Araki IS A GOD Yes for once i agree with you. But it's not even just the breathing time. The expressions themselves, what they convey is just not always there. Like take "I.. am just me.." from the previous episode. This is the manga page: And this is the anime:  They don't really convey the same feeling do they? It's fine to have the zoom-in of his eyes, but AFTER you actually showed the expression. I just don't get decisions like that. But whatever, i don't know why i care still. | I'm still waiting for subs before watching the episode but i'm kind of scared by the comments especially after watching the last KnY episode which was a feast for the eyes. I'll keep my expectations very low. |
