Yes. But there is a lot more stuff that happens in the game that gives more details. At the moment this adaptation is actually doing a good job at adapting the game, from what I can tell each episode is a chapter in the game. If you’re confused, it’s because the story keeps unveiling more and more as chapters in the game go on, or as each episode comes out you will learn more and more stuff about the story/ lore of the game.

imo, i highly recommending to play the game instead of watching this. the anime so far did a poor job in story execution (although it adapts the plot well) and mediocre animation. the first 6 chapters of gfl are the lowest in the story but it will get interesting in chap 7-13 plus major events (singularity onwards). dont like playing? theres a yt channel named 'shoul' that houses gfl story only collection. watching those will feel like reading a VN. the latest story in gfl (and the current event as of writing this comment) is Dual Randomness
