I'm very pleased with this announcement. I got spooked for a second there, thinking "Clannad" will no longer be part of it. I had, also, been wondering why "Kaginado" has ended without us ever seeing the characters from, say, "Angel Beats!" and "Charlotte" (I remember the synopsis stating that additional Key franchises were to be revealed at a later date).

Im probably being a killjoy for telling you this, but I havent watched some of the stuff from Key and I was lost a couple of times.

yeah, which is why i probably wont watch both seasons until I've read or seen most if not all of Key works. i'm not doing the same thing as I did to Carnival Phantasm ever again lol

I have the same problem. i only watched Clannad, Kanon (Remake) and Angel beats. Problem is for me is that i feel that all the Key work Separate for 2 category. A really good series or horrible piece of shit. I want watch all the key work. But didin't want watch another trash like Angel beats.

angel beats is literally better than clannad and kanon and is also the best key anime. there are other key anime that are better than clannad like planetarian,og kanon and air.

Lol No. Angel beats is full of plot hole. Artificial drama without any common sense. Yurippe back story is not make sense. Also the half of the anime is waste of time. Instead of working on the other characters backstory they just waste at least 7 episode without real plot. Literally the worst key anime ever made.

OG kanon has horrible animation.

it's literally an anime that takes place in school, drama is to be expected. So what if yuri's backstory didn't make sense, wouldn't that be a personal complaint rather than a problem with the story? and what would you get out of knowing the backstories of the other characters? besides yuzuru's, the others dont matter.

Literally the point of story is accept your past life and your dead. Reason why they are that world is because they didin't accept they fate.

It's make a character more likeable if we know more about them? Even Otonashi story is not match with Kaede story. So the whole series is big plot hole. One of the worst anime i ever see.
