 The official website of the Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja (The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest) television anime revealed additional staff and the first key visual (pictured) on Friday.The anime series adapting Shotou Shinkou's adventure fantasy light novel will premiere on January 8 at 10:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX and BS11, followed by Sun TV and AT-X. Voice actress Yuki Nakashima is performing the ending theme "Day of Bright Sunshine." Noriaki Akitaya (Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo) is helming the anime at J.C.Staff. Hiroki Uchida is handling the series composition. Shinkou began writing the adventure fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in December 2016. SB Creative began printing the series the following May, featuring illustrations by Huuka Kazabana. The 13th volume shipped on March 12, with the 14th volume scheduled for release on January 14, 2022. Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja has a cumulative 5 million copies of its volumes in print.
