Has anyone noticed during some combat scenes, usually upon impact of an explosion of fire, general magic, or something of that nature that there is a split second intentional screen glitch effect? Has this been used in the animation of any other series that you're aware of?

And what is the purpose of it? Is it a breaking-the-fourth-wall reference to subtly call out to the audience and remind them that they're watching the series on a television screen or computer screen? Or is it meant to imply that William and the events taking place are in some virtual simulation?

It is not just me. It's not something subjective to the individual. It's a matter of something either being physically present there or not just as much as Will or Gus being animated into the series or the series having an OP or not. Its presence isn't really up for a debate; you just may have missed it because it only lasts for a split second.

My question is about interpreting its purpose.

Maybe, idk, it’s just a glitch? Why would u need to interpret its purpose? And if u say it’s only for a split second then y should we care?

My point is that it isn't an actual "glitch" - it's animated into the scene.

As for why anyone should care, I care because I'm curious as to the reasoning behind it since for something to appear like that in an animated series it has to be physically drawn and animated in intentionally. I can't tell you whether you should care or not or why. Like any other thread topic, if you don't care, I would suggest not even bother commenting? I do the same for the thread topics I don't care about every single day.

It's only worthwhile for someone to comment obviously if they do care and they have an answer or something otherwise meaningful to contribute.

You're not alone, I've seen it too and thought it was weird.
I'm hoping it makes some sense later on and not swept under the rug.
