Hmm, they're really trusting in Lugh as an assassin on important missions now. Guess an assassin has to start somewhere to earn others' trust.

Also looks like Lugh got more ruthless in his role and isn't afraid to take risks. It's a shame the other main assassin girls are kinda left out in the loop. Only 5 episodes in so maybe they can get them more involved in the story.

35 years ago, this was too sudden, lol. Why is there always a time skip like this, but yeah maybe this is to explain the prologue before entering the ansatsusha mission. The Touahade family, who pretend to be a famous doctor but their back face is a "assassins / Ansatsusha". Rogue is believed to be the successor to his father, and is involved in the mission together. Megami is the best samurai in the world, but she is a stupid seppuku. Did i Miss something, what is seppuku, xD... Does this include the reincarnation participant code? No. 362, who reincarnated 35 years ago, idk. An amulet that protects you from bandits and beasts, and only strength can open a noble's heart. That Was quite strange question "Would you like to be born in Touahade?" Tarte just wants to be Rogue's exclusive maid, damn. Rogue doesn't want to suppress Tarte and kokoro did nothing wrong.

And yeah, I've been waiting for this uwoowoo Muehehehe, really likes that girls. If you want to approach the target then use various statuses, lessons from Daddy. Met Ronaha, but why is she so rude to Rogue, lol. Daddy tells Rogue to practice trading skills for the sake of Baroru's son. They only talk about tops and bottoms, and some consequences but it's nice to see they're doing well. In last year's Young Knights Tournament, only four were stronger than Ronaha. Rogue has to be careful and yeah if one day I will become your subordinate and I will become a knight, end still waiting for Dia :")

Well, Ronah got humbled pretty quickly. Just casually got his arm broken in less than a minute.

The Goddess is still a mystery, with the amount of people she is trying to get to kill the hero

"I refuse to accept such a young boy as the next head of the house", well no one's asking you to mister. So stop being full of yourself as you were just shown how pathetic you are by that boy himself. Atleast he got himself accepting as Lugh's companion later on.

Now Lugh along with Tarte on his way for the final test.

The battle between Lugh and his father was amazing.
This is how assassins will fight. No talk or no complement until the battle finishes.

The battle between Lugh and his father was doped. The pure fighting with skills, strength, and knives.
The next episode's title seems to be very interesting.

It's slow in the slow parts and fast in the fast parts. I think it's a decent balance. Like, I never once thought so far "man, can this hurry up? I'm waiting for a more exciting part." But I also never thought that it was TOO fast, in like skipping full on scenes or plot.

I would prefer if they don't time skip and stuff all over the place, but they can't really do that.

Definitely think it’s official at this point that this is my fave show of the season. Such a rich and interesting world, the MC is cool since he’s an actual old man, doesn’t have the usual isekai tropes. Side characters are cool and the world building is on point.

The goddess scene at the begining was pretty funny and I like how she cosplays accordingly each time.

Lugh vs his dad fight was pretty tense and nice he won. He even got a knight for him who seemed cocky at first but he'll proly turn into a loyal subject.

Lugh's going to live as a merchant now. I hope we get to see the third harem member there.

OK episode, although more screen time for the girls would have been nice.

What's wrong with those "strongest" experiment on each beginning? Are they isekai'd into the same word as Lugh targeting the very same hero? But they lives in different decades, is all of the hero on that world suppose to be a betrayer?

Lol I like the trope of the goddess summoning different people from earth but each of them are failures.

The duel between the father/son assassins was good. Things like this have to interesting, I'm glad I wasn't bored by random throwing of hands for no reason.

I like that Lugh doesn't waste the potential of the people he meets. I thought Ronah was gonna be a disposable asshole who won't return after serving his purpose in that scene. Glad he'll probably be returning sometime in the future.

This show is quite entertaining ;-)

I like the way it's written, with heapings of the usual ridiculous fantasy elements but considered dialogue that's often quite grounded.

Plus the OP is one of this season's best

The goddess really likes to play dressup huh. Still she has been really unlucky with her summons so far. Lugh though sure is popular within his realm. Its good that in the end Tarte wasn't eliminated due to her inconsistent entrance to the field. The fight against his father though sure was a high level one. Usage of magic would have been too flashy for an assassin though. The assassin missions after though sure were fun. Taking the final tests at such a young age though was impressive. Ronah was an embarrassment to the house for sure. Still making amends and encouraging him to take up a new path was a nice move. Having more allies is always better than having more enemies. The final test though should prove to be most interesting. Overall a pretty balanced ep that featured some nice action while expanding the lore of the series.

Fortunately Tarte isn't a spy, Lugh got recognized by his father after beating him during that test but it isn't finished, he still has to infiltrate some noble castle by taking another identity for two years, it's going to be interesting I guess

Simply, with 5 episodes it's already the third best Isekai I've ever seen. Each episode that passes gets more interesting and this one was no different. Another cool thing, is that you can clearly see the evolution of the protagonist as a character.

Great episode! Lugh is really popular with the people it seems.
It also seems that Tarte has been inspected by Lugh for 2 years to see if she was a spy sent to steal the Tuatha De techniques which she wasn’t. He’s being very careful xD. Lugh also beat his father in an assassination test!
That boy trying to oppose Lugh really messed up. No way he would ever get close to beating him lol.

Looking forward to the next episode!

Currently Ansatsu kizoku is occupying my special interest, more than Mushoku. I mean it's great, I know Sliver Link tried hard and the adaptation exceeded my expectations. I wish the image part was taken care of more, it would be perfect. But I know I can't ask for more because of how much effort the studio has put in.

Maaan, aside from the big shows continuing this season (86, mushoku, etc), this is easily becoming a favorite of the season. I'm really glad that it didn't go the usually isekai tropes with loads of fanservice, and hoping it'll continue to stay this way. The fight scene with his dad was real enjoyable too. Looking forward to the next ep!

The trope of the Goddness showing us what happend to the reincarnated warriors is hiliarious. Seems like Lugh is the only one that succeeded so far. He beat his father in a test which made him the strongest assassin in the Tuath history. Even used character development jutsu on Rohan who he met a few hours ago. The next arc will be awesome, we'll be meeting the best girl with the greatest outfit ever. Can't wait for it.

Animators needs to have a set of clothing for Tarte in different settings. Seeing her in that yellow dress nonstop until she matures has become redundant.

Nice episode, Lugh is on a fast track of succeeding his father as heir to the Tuatha De. The introduction to his hot headed cousin Ronah was typical. It didn't take much to win him over lol, the classic "if you can't beat em, join em". I'm hoping he gets decent screen time in future and becomes best bro to Lugh. Otherwise, what was the point?

Anyhow, for the next few episodes, we'll see Lugh as a merchant's bastard son. I wonder how this will be, I'm expecting to see one of his future party members as well very soon.

I do like how the goddess changes her outfit accordingly to each candidate that she summons, although the samurai she called upon seems to be just as much of a dud as the one from the previous episode. XD

The battle between Lugh and his father as part of his test was great. The animation wasn't the best at times, but it did a good enough job to showcase the intensity of the battle between father and son. With his calm mind, Lugh was able to win in this test.

Ronah seems like the usual jealous and cocky brat, that obviously got the beating he deserved when he challenged Lugh to a fight, to which he lost badly and with a broken arm to boot. However, Lugh's persuasion to wanting to make Ronah a knight one day did make for a nice scene between the two of them.

Now Lugh will head off to live as a merchant under a different name as part of his "final test". At least he'll have Tarte along with him, which is nice. =)

Finally got to see the battle between Lugh and his father, and it was very well adapted.

Another similarity to Mushoku tensei, just like Rudeus, with a push from his father Lugh is leaving his home at a early age in order to learn more about the world and improve his skills.
We say goodbye to Tuathe de and we are gonna spent most of the next few episodes with Lugh in a totally different identity, this is where the merchant life comes in.

Also I liked that they showed the scenes of Lugh and his dad participating in assassination missions. Soon Lugh we will be doing it by himself.

By the looks of it the anime will only adapt up to volume 1, so we won't even see the hero this season, well luckily next episode we will finally meet Maha!

Lugh's father suspected that Tarte is a spy, but Lugh has been closely monitoring Tarte's body language to convince his farther that she is not a spy. Lugh has one final test and that is to fight his father using what he learned so far. It was an even match, but Lugh manged to win on his own terms to pass with flying colors. Lugh is now officially an assassin and so far he is accompanying his father on assassination missions.

I'm enjoying the show so far even though it struggled to find its footing in the first three episodes. For me episodes 4 and 5 where better that episodes 2 & 3.

I wonder how many of these people the goddess has reincarnated before Lugh, they all failed miserably so far.

Lugh defeated his father with a bit of a suicide gamble, but he did it either way. A full fledged Assassin now as he tagged along with his father and took out countless of nobles.

Good build up episode for the next arc. I do wonder, what has Tarte been taught to take care of Lugh for? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Just how many heroes has this Goddess sent out a kill order for? It makes me wonder if it's just every hero's fate to ultimately bring about the end to their world (and thus, become a target for the goddesses) or if the Goddess is perhaps up to something that we aren't yet aware of.

Furthermore, the fact that Lugh aims his gun at the end of the OP and the optic reveals a very smug Goddess, just goes to increase my suspicions of her. Perhaps it is really she who is (will be) the true target.

I love it but I was kinda hoping to see Dia appear again in today's episode.

And for the goddess, I was kinda confused about the many individuals that she sent just to kill the hero but why the huge year gap? Does it mean she reincarnated the people once a year? And for how long has she been reviving all those people just to kill the hero? Does it mean the hero is immortal or something?

Yikes, this was a pretty bad episode.

Everything aside from the fight between Lugh and his father, as well as their conversation before, was not good. The art & animation felt much worse this episode. Characters seemed stiff, mouth flaps were inconsistent, and characters were off-model many times. The writing doesn’t help too much with how it thinks it’s so badass and cool, only showing some self-awareness in the opening bits with the Goddess.

It’s power fantasy trash that has the occasional glimpse of something actually good with the worldbuilding and assassin stuff. If the next episode is bad then I’m dropping it.

Goddess scene on the first sequence always funny when she sure looking at every warrior she summoned in need to kill the hero, and, from the look of the two clown so far, nothing really able to meet the criteria.

Looks like Lugh able to create the ultimate nuclear stone without explaining what was the how. Interesting. Battle with the father. Its not that surprising, especially when he said it as the test. Ofc Lugh able to get a victory, no need to show me all the scenes, its just unnecessary except for stretching the time *rolling out my eyes*.

Next for the assasination contain, showing how Lugh's father in action. That's nice. His experience looked very well done, and that's begin the new journey for Lugh. Yeah, he will do the first mission as an assassin alone without him. So he need every preparation to be done, even with changing the identity.

Okay built-up. More pawn arrived gladly at Lugh's hand, easy handle, and possibly more girl drop down into his below thing, next week. Can't wait....

The Goddess is sus, but man I love her lmao, I look forward to more cosplays of hers.

Lugh and Tarte with that wholesome(?) manipulation. I do like how calculating Lugh is, like how he treats his people, it's mutually beneficial, so I guess there's nothing wrong with that and I don't think he'll do them wrong in the future.

Lugh vs Cian was great, Cian looked badass in his assassination outfit. The mustache really does not do him justice lmao. If Lugh is already stronger than his dad at 12 years old, then shiii, he still has plenty of room to grow. The Assassination montage was pretty cool, it's nice to see them actually do some work.

The moment I saw Ronah in the background all drunk and grumpy, I knew he was getting clapped. Though it's nice to see he has honor after getting clapped, well he is a knight, so it makes sense. Lugh really has charisma and speech at 100.

I wanna see what Esri taught Tarte ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Really looking forward to the next episode.

The World's Finest Samurai being summoned by the Goddess to do the same assassination plot, and just like the goon from earlier which became a NEET, he died in some heavy useless fire. What a hilarious miscalculation.

The townsfolk are thriving under the Tuatha Dé leadership, and it shows of the loyalty between ordinary people and assassins from behind, not to mention their own people like Tarte as well (which her encounter turned out to be no more than natural calculated coincidence).

The assassin tests continue between Cian and Lugh, not just father and son, as well as some actual assassinations and lessons exterminating evil in the background.

The final test of infiltration in disguise under this Illig Balor of a well-known trading company to be a growing merchant for 2 years. Of course, within internal walls as Lugh takes up the mantle as the next Head, and people like Ronah are displeased that someone of a caliber like Lugh is worthy of that title (and proves it rightaway). At least he's not a wimp to succumb to pressure.

The final test beckons, and let's see how will Lugh as Illig Balor and Tarte fare this out.
