Did you change your rating for season 1 after watching season 2?

Did you change your rating for season 1 because of season 2? If so, to what?

EDIT: I didn’t do this, but I know several people who did, so I was curious how many others did it as well. I’m glad to hear most people didn’t. :)

No, I think season 1 is still really good. The second season is a monstrosity of its own and I don’t think it’s fair to discount both because of that.

Honestly I feel like it overrated and maybe it’s because I didn’t read the manga I actually liked the 2nd season even if it was rushed I feel like both seasons for me is 7/10

obviously not..season 1 is a 10 for me....just because its sequel is bad does not mean that the sequel has to be good and similarly just because the sequel is trash does not mean that the prequel will be bad too...the story just deviated from manga, which idk why they did that. Also it was rushed and the ending was bad..people just got angry and tried to take their anger out on this season 2 by rating it low. some also followed the trend...but actually it deserves at least 6/

You all have to undrestand that Chainsaw man is impossible to adapt without CG.

Well, I do understand people saying "what kind of idiot would do that" but I did it. It's not personal hate for season 2, but I score every show as a whole, season 1 was a 9.8 for me, and like, I still think it's good, but I can't bring myself to watch it again or recommend to someone because it's the prequel of... that.

I have the first one as a 7 but my feelings on the series have really dropped and my respect for everything is no longer as high as it used to be

I dont really give ratings but if i would i wouldnt change my score because the second season is bad. The first season is really great and its just the second season thats bad.

I really did wanted to but giving as much as lower score to the sequel is more justifiable than bringing the score of Season 1 down.

Definitely not. Luckily, season 1 ends in such a spot that you can kinda pretend season 2 isn't a thing. The first arc allows it to be disconnected from the disaster of season 2, which I'm really glad for. In my opinion season 1 is absolutely stellar, and nothing from season 2 will ever taint my love for this beautiful adaptation.

The First season was a 9 no Cap but i knew the 2nd season is Bad af but i gave it a try and didnt wait for the Dub that wasnt it worth but If there would be the 2nd season Just a littlebit longer then maby i would give IT a 8 but Like this its Just a 6

No season one is always good.it's a masterpiece.only season 1 makes the whole anime awesome. And it only gives the promised neverland vibe.
