 The official website for the television anime adaptation of Asato Asato's 86 (Eighty Six) light novel revealed on Saturday three additional cast members, new key visual (pictured), theme song artists, and a second promotional video. The second cours is scheduled to premiere on October 3 at 12:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX, TV Gunma, BS11, and Tochigi TV, followed by Yomiuri TV, and Chuukyou TV.Cast Frederica Rosenfort: Misaki Kuno (Hisone to Maso-tan) Ernst Zimmerman: Yuuya Uchida (No Guns Life) Shiden Iida: Asuna Tomari (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken) Alternative rock band amazarashi (Boku no Hero Academia 2nd Season) is performing the opening theme "Kyoukaisen," which is previewed in the promotional video below. J-rock band Regal Lily will perform the ending theme "Alchemilla." Toshimasa Ishii (Boku dake ga Inai Machi assistant director) returns to helm the second cours at A-1 Pictures, with Toshiya Oono (Yakusoku no Neverland) handling the series composition. Tetsuya Kawakami (Gakusen Toshi Asterisk) is designing the characters. Kohta Yamamoto (Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season) and Hiroyuki Sawano (Aldnoah.Zero) are composing the music. Asato began publishing the light novel under the Dengeki Bunko imprint in February 2017, featuring illustrations by Shirabi and mechanical designs by I-IV (Re:Creators). To be honest, what makes a sequel the “second part” of a season or the “second season” isn’t clearly understood yet. The 1st season was amazing and is a potential AOTY for me so hopes for this season is obviously high as well. Judging from the PV and the Key Visual, I don’t think there ought to be much to be sceptical about or at least just yet. @argosblock1 Right, it definitely does say a "second cour" then, maybe MAL will change it in due time. |

I mean, in the trailer it says 第二クール, which translates to “2nd cour”, so it’s not really a second season (which is 第二期), and I wouldn’t expect a second season to come out that quickly after the first anyway. And yeah, that first cour was fantastic, so can’t wait to see the continuation. |

Her time as Bloody Reina was mostly offscreen events. Shiden is an important character going forward but the rest of the team she commanded simply wasn't. Given the anime's pacing I'm guessing it will take time to slow things down and cover the Bloody Reina stuff which will mostly have to be anime original content. Vol 2 and 3 were like 90% Shin and the other 86 and 10% Lena. I starting suspect, that Lena actually just a side character in this arcs. |

Probably one of the better done romances I’ve seen in anime / light novels / manga. At this point, I'm not so much interested in romance (obviously the heroes are already slated to be the central couple), but how good the elements of science fiction and drama will be in the future. |

Not gonna lie , if it wasnt for the fact that i am interested to know what the world has got to offer , might have just dropped this after that PV . The most annoying part of 1st season lena being present , the once again dissappointing op , the cheap looking misanthrope (villain ?) , and for fuck sake A GODDAMN LOLI ???? these 2 saved the PV . I am only here for them .   |

But tbh the characters themselves are not an appealing part of the show , so its really just a moment of annoyance . I am very indifferent in their matter and just couldnt careless about them . Atleast for now . I just liked those 2 characters because they look good , nothing more . Lena does become a drastically better character than she was in season one. Er yes , i would think that watching a supposed war-drama anime for just 2 hot tomboys isnt exactly a common reason . But sadly , that is the only hook factor left in the show for me . that and my curiosity for the world building aspect . And i didnt know that there was a constitution which pointed out what is and isnt the right reason to watch a show . |
