| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Kiyo is back in her Aomori home for the New Year, and Kenta and Sumire paid her a visit, along with the stories from the Maiko Manor. Ozoni is not a simple dish to make, but certain regions in Japan only makes it. As customary of the New Year, it's the shrine visit to pray for successes and get the annual fortune slip. Sumire and Kenta got lucky while Kiyo still remained her usual torrential bad luck. But, hang it on a pine tree to share the blessing and interconnect the wealth, pray for it to go away. Back to Kyoto, and souvenirs abound from the many Maiko girls. Their chance to go outside is rare, and meeting other Maiko girls from other Houses is sure to make a scene, such as fast food restaurants. It's the only time where they can indulge in junk food like hamburgers outside to the fullest. A small feast but a longing. |

| Kiyo and Sumire returned to Aomori. The chapter was very nice. |
| High amount of calories are just a small price to pay to enjoy the deliciousness of a hamburger. I wonder how well hamburgers go with the walnut sauce. |
