I honestly loved that this was just the manga colorized. The effects that they made were subtle and made it super enjoyable to me. Are there any other anime that used this same concept but made it entertaining.

i'm pretty sure backstreetgirls -gokudols- is the same style. is it as enjoyable as house husband? probably not. worth checking out though, maybe it hooks you in.

Agree 100%, I think that this sort of motion-manga style animation worked just as well if not better with Gokushufudous comedy than “good animation” would

Try "Ore, Tsushima". It's kind of similar (animation) and it's entertaining IMO.
It has 1-2 min per episode though

Watch saiki k. This anime doesn’t really have the same art style, but it kind of have the same humor so if you enjoyed this anime i think you would enjoy saiki also

Yami Shibai has the same kind of manga colorized style but the genre is in horror so not sure if you'd be interested haha

If you are still looking, try Detroit Metal City. Its comedy is kind of similar and it also has this 'animated manga' style. Along with the way of the househusband it might be the only comedy-centered anime I have ever found funny.

A lot of the jokes in DMC are based on metal stereotypes so I don't know if the experience is different for non-metalheads, but I think it deserves people checking it out regardless.

I wasn't expecting this much background story for this match of the tournament.

Peyote Diaz faces off against a very determined Chocolove. I like the Ayer Rocks reference this episode though, a neat little addition to the episode's elements.

where do y'all watch it...it's only 19 episodes for me on every site
