| FranXX had a messed up and confusing ending, but it was an ending nonetheless. WEP is literally nothing, a pointless anime with an even more pointless "ending". In comparison, FranXX deserves an Oscar |

| Cloverworks studios, along with MAPPA were the darlings of the anime community back in January this year with TPN S2, WEP and Horimiya. Now with TPN S2 being one of the worst adaptations of all time, and WEP ending on a wet fart and plagued with production issues, with some fans even complaining about the Horimiya adaptation, the studios reputation has taken a bit of a dive in 2021. To answer your question, DiTF had the better ending, even if it was horrible. |

| They both had Evangelion type endings but WEP's ending is more like the series ending and Franxx's was more like the movie ending. I voted Franxx because it was an ending. Idk what the fuck WEP's special was. I also think WEP is a bigger missed opportunity, while Franxx had a stupid YA novel tier plot from the start anyway. |
