| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- For once, Cestvs has ACTUALLY managed to hit Felix, and the lucky man retorts in feints by bringing out his inner devil. Cestvs only need look for that opening while he is in constant challenging against Felix, and he managed to make a comeback. NGL, the comeback hype is really good, and Cestvs is beginning his reversal against Felix in the most dramatic way...by attacking on his inhales and exhales: the kidney blow, which would've been banned in today's age. NICELY DONE, Cestvs. You've won your way to the Main Event. |

| This episode was really good and enjoyable. For the most part, Cestvs was struggling against Felix because of his injured foot. And, how well Felix was fighting against him because of his experience fighting in the cramped places and arenas. Cestvs barely survived that but damn did he made the comeback. All this time, Cestvs was observing the pattern of Felix's breathing and the points to him at his body which made Felix hard to breathe in the end, and the one killer move, the kidney punch was looking really painful. And, Cestvs managed to win against Felixin qualifiers and now he's gonna move into the main events. Good episode. |

| As a martial arts fan I really enjoy anime series based on that. The bad thing of this episode was the unnecessary recap at the beginning, leaving only ~15 min of new stuff. The strategy employed by Cestvs makes totally sense. And that blow to Felix's kidney was definite. It would be better if this series have been fully animated in 2D instead of 3DCG. The same goes for Kengan Ashura (off topic). |

I personally think that if they were to do it in 2d with the same budget, the accuracy and overall quality of the fights would not be the same. You may not have realised it initially, but if you pay attention the fights make use of a lot of tracking camera shots. These shots would be infinitely harder to do in 2d while keeping the same level of detail. All the little details that make these fights look good would be lost in a cheap 2d rendition. In retrospect I can see why they chose 3d over 2d. I haven't thought about it You've got a point there! |

| Didn't expect 6 min at the start of repeated stuff from the previous episode. Great comeback of Cestvs there with him dealing the finishing blow. |
