Can you watch this movie if you have only read the manga?

So I'm pretty caught up on the manga, close to the latest release and have only just started watching the anime, currently on episode 20. Can I still see this movie after reading the majority of the manga or would I need to be up to date on the anime as well?

I think you can. The anime is pretty much the same with manga + filler cases that aren't canon. Just make sure you at least acknowledge everything involves around BO.

Though I haven't watch the movie myself, just making answer here....

The anime follows the manga, so the anime is behind the manga.

No just read the manga you don’t need to start the anime too
