| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Another emotional episode. We finally got to see what happened in the flashback that led to Shuier getting to Rakshasa Street. It sucks how General Men got betrayed by his own commander and was locked up to starve for 7 days. I hope General Men can have his revenge soon. |

| So this is what people meant when they were saying Shuier died more brutally in the source lol, like man that was rough. The fact she was trying to kill herself beforehand makes it even more heartbreaking. And Men by technicality killed Shuier in both versions of her death as well, the first time by forgetting what school she goes to and the 2nd time by locking her in a closet and being unable to get someone to let her out or let her out himself, this is some true emotional damage lol, I can’t wait to hear my friend’s reaction to this. And then even going as far as to introduce a mom into the equation and have her be a cheating bitch, this is just layers of bad times. But now comes the question of which version do I prefer, and I’m ngl I think I prefer this one, before Shuier’s death was instantaneous but here there’s no telling how long it took her to die, not to mention the despair she must’ve been in due to Men leaving when she needed him most, call me a sadist but this more tragic version I just think is better, it was also helped by the better art and animation. And it’s possible we’re gonna watch Shuier die for a 3rd time if her spirit actually ends up dying lol. |
