Yes there are enough chapters for a third season considering the sequel to the original manga is still ongoing

The number of sales for the second seasons blu-ray were quite high. I think Bones has enough money for a third season, so hopefully we can get it.

The second season didn’t sell well in dvd’s but it did sell quite decently on blu-ray. I can’t remember where I found it cuz I saw it a while ago, but from what I can remember it was a reliable source on Twitter.

Yeah, 25 chapter I was talking about is from that ongoing sequal manga. Last adaptation even covered 2-3 chapter from that manga

Wow, it ended in 2017 and after just 4 years it didn't get a new season announced? Yep, i think this is really the proof it will not get anything new ever, because you know, one of the rules in the anime industry is that if a popular franchise doesn't get new stuff within 4 years it means is doomed forever, as we can see in the last years there's no case of a popular franchise getting a new anime after 4 years =/
