| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Heh, the Urawa Kuninari High School Women's Soccer Club has some tough members. Seems like a buildup episode but that team is definitely one to be careful of. Nozomi's desire to succeed is still very evident along with the rest of her team. Pacing kinda slowed down this time but the next few episodes should bd pretty exciting. |

| What's with that Feudal Era style intro lols, it's just fantasy. Urawa Hosei High School sure has some weirdos, but the girls' soccer team isn't to be trifled with being team favourite and champions for years. The usual suspects being the ones they know (Sumire, Midori) are researched well beforehand, and especally Midori since she has a history with Urawa's Recon team's Chika. More than the re-coming of a previous match bringing nostalgia, the effect of an amateur David team facing a strong Goliath team, it only excites the feeling more. The Red Army vs. the white Warabi girls and Nozomi being a Jizo statue, bear the brunt of a losing match and try your best. Let the match begin! Ganbatte! |

| What was with that opening scene? Felt like something I'd see in Gintama or something. xD Our opponents for the first round of the knockout stages is Urawa, a powerhouse school. There's not really much to say about the opposite other that it was build up for the match next episode. I did excited when they mentioned it would be a Giant Killing. Here's to hoping Non-chan will finally play properly in this game, I'm looking forward to seeing the reaction of the opponents once they find out she's more than a Jizo statue. xD |

| The team we are about to face has done quite a homework on our girls and their individual skills. That's a mark of a good team. Our girls are doing fine. As the coach said, they get along quite well even tho they fight a lot. Uruwa Hosei, a powerhouse school can be really intimidating for our girls but they need to hold their ground against them if they wanna win at all. The first match is upcoming. How will the girls perform? We'll see. |

| Onda the Jizo. lmao... The Urawa Hosei doesn't have much information about her, she could be Warabi's hidden weapon from that point. I hope she will play properly and shines in this game. With the raining and the wet pitch with several water puddles, these conditions could make problems with ball controlling and passing for sure. I really looking forward to the match. It will be a great game for both of the teams. |

| Nice buildup episode for the final few episodes. That piano outro as the game kicked off gave me goosebumps. It feels like the girls are about to play the biggest game of their lives. |

| The intro really messed up my brain for a moment, ngl. Oh its that creep slender girl liking those kind of thing. Loyalist, eh? Sounds fine enough to be a good setup to the one whose know it. The red army, kinda give the very first strong impression already. The members also looked very unique on their own way, and, well, the briefing about the Warabis slipped one amusing part. Yep, the Juzo statue, that Onda. Lmao. Legit call to her contribution back before. Whats up with those wannabe italian coach. Whats up with Onda flashback. Ah, her younger brother introduction, i see. A nice setup before the first match, honestly. Well, those four surely filled with a lot of energy, ready to fight the red giant. The second-year shall be look at their positive terms already, and not just being so gloomy in the first place. Its looks like they were not gonna wasting anymore times. So, yeah, good luck, girls! Show your dancing swan, Shiratori! |

| Hope the majority of the budget was saved for this match. I am really looking forward to it. I don't like the animation at all but I am enjoying the anime not only 'cause I love football but also for the characters who are really funny and likeable. |

| God, now Onda is the "I wont run for the ball" garbage, why is she even the mc? But of course, next ep she wont be the dumb player she was this entire time. I feel bad for Midori, she´s the only one being more serious about soccer. Well, gotta finish the show since its ep 9. |

| That was a pretty good build up episode, the intro had me trippin though lmao. They used scenes from the upcoming prequel movie for Onda's flashback, and judging from those short flashbacks, the movie's gonna look awesome, can't wait for it. Onda using big brain tactics to make it seem like she's a fool, to fool Urawa Hosei lmao. Seriously though, I hope Onda can finally show her stuff. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| that first half about the other school was seriously boring... i don't really care about the tv show or about seeing the weird stuff that the 3 girls from the other school do, i swear everyone of them have a strange way of walking lol that being said, lots of them played together with the main girls before so the 2nd half was slightly more interesting excited to see this match :D seriously tho, wish the manga was longer, i'm kinda enjoying the anime, but i'm not sure if i'll bother with such a short source material lol i mean, even Hanebado felt short as hell and it was 80 chapters... |

| I'm glad to have watched the prequel movie before this episode as the short flashbacks make more sense especially the one on poor Junpei. Bit of a build-up episode but its finally time for Onda the Jizo statue and the rest to play against powerhouse school Urawa. |
