DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Meh, it's still the same shit you see every week in terms of mech battles and story development. They tried to make it dramatic but it's not very different from what you usually see. I will say this though..Ren Sin had a lot of screen time and a mission on her mind. She's just the type to not give up any fight that she gets herself in. |

That sounds like an inflexible and narrow-minded way of thinking. Compared to previous episodes of this series, we are seeing new developments this week in terms of both the cast of characters and the mecha. That's a good thing and, honestly, normal for a mecha anime. Complaining about that would be like getting mad about One Piece being full of shonen-style developments that aren't "very different from what you usually see" in its own genre. Based on that sort of logic, you're setting a bar that is almost impossible to clear, if we take your statement literally. Then again, I also realize traditional mecha anime are no longer popular these days...which is a shame. Unless you're tied to an already existing property, of course, but that's to be expected. |

| A Kai x Ren fusion? Why not, especially that they seem to be definitely stronger like that since Back Arrow was in a pretty bad situation at the end but I'm sure he'll beat them anyway. |

| Fun and over the top episode as usual, I like how this show feels like a return to what mecha shows used to be back in the day. Yes, it’s repetitive at times because that’s how the mecha genre was meant to be. Lots of monster of the week types of encounters for the cast and ridiculous action. I do hope in the second half we begin to get a little faster plot development. We are like 12 episodes in now and it’s gonna become crunch time soon. |

| Seriously? Classic vs. Modern anime? Shut up and grow up your mentality dweebs. That said, the war is still unsettling the commonfolk and some pep talk must be given to sweeten the "promise", as is with some downtime since Emperor Zetsu called for it. But if there one thing, don't try to challenge his "Conviction", the same way that Ren Sin is paying for her training of revenge against Shu Bi. Don't ever try stupid things, Bit. Glad that Shu Bi is keeping him on watch like a useful dog. In the cases of Kai and Ren Sin, their emotions got the better of them so much that their Convictions don't matter a lot, much less their pride and ego. Ren Sin opting for teamwork with Kai vs. Kai going individually, the former pep talk helped bring up the latter, and of course, they combined to become one for comrades in unity to take down not only Back Arrow, but Shu Bi as well. The 1st Cour is done, and so far, the best it has been is averagely so-so. |

| Think that Ren x Kai fusion mech looks cool as fuck. That little bit of 2D animation by Toshiyuki Sato was great but too short :3 Now that we seen it's possible for mechs to fuse I wonder if there will be more fusions in the future and up to how many it's possible to fuse. I would for example love to see Arrow fusing with others depending on what's needed in situation, etc. |

| I'm getting frustrated with this anime. When I think Arrow will fight the Emperor. Kai appear again because he wants his lover back. But no, this time is to kill the one who stole the lover, with the help of the woman who he fear losing his lover to. The now I can fly part was strange to say the least. Arrow okay because basic Plot Armor, Prax because science, and we have Rekka because yes. |

| THIS is what this anime should do more often, focus on the actual interesting characters, pretty much most people in roku´s faction, be it the emperor, ren or kai, they are by far the most interesting characters, everyone in lutoh just brings boredom and the village people just make angry. Despite that tho, Shun and Arrow are growing on me for sure, i do like that arrow isnt sure about killing people, because well, his power is literally not killing them lol. The animation this episode was by far the best, nothing spectacular, but there were some honestly sakuga moments. So whats the reason for the sakuga? Did they actually make this episode on Studio VOLN and finally NOT outsource an episode? | Pretty good episode! Honestly, Ren Sin is probably my favorite character in the show, well next to Shu Bi of course. Damn, that animation though when Ren was training with that general dude. The show has some pretty exceptional CG already, but the 2D animation is also pretty good. The Gigan Reppu fusion briheight looks sick, I wonder what that injured hand is going to do to Arrow. |

| So Briheight pilots become the conviction particles (which we know are nanomachines) if they are killed in battle? They're killed because their conviction/spririt is weak, too. Either the nanomachines rearrange the human's body on an atomic/molecular level and use them as raw building material to replicate, or the "humans" are made of conviction particles initially and return to being individual conviction particles if they disintegrate. I'm hoping this goes the route of sufficiently advance technology being indistinguishable from magic since Lingalind itself is implied to be artificial someone doesn't want its (possibly artificial) inhabitants to get out. Ren Sin gets her own Briheight and it can gattai with Kai's. I like the red and blue design. |

| Ah, the way Arrow injured like that, something must be happened. So, thats it, some kind of limitation maybe happening there, or some kind of mal-function? Idk. But one thing for sure, the alter ego princess possibly intervene directly to face the difficulties ahead.... Well, the episode actually continuing Kai and Ren lne sided anger toward Shu. As expected, the woman was never tired to chase the impossibility, especially after hearing that annoying Sugita laughs xd. The way Zetsu just threw her off like that. Well, as a result, they got a fusion, even got a wing as an additional booster. Everything sounds very possible, without caring how that thing works, and any other power system details. Mecha logic. So, anyway, lets see how well Arrow Briheight conviction power developed after that sudden change of the situations. Not gonna mention Prax may contribute too, especially after getting such a let-down. So, yeah, lets wait for it... |

| We got some nice action and a new powerup from Kai and Ren. I have a feeling something big is going to happen next episode. Btw Code Geass and Back Arrow are both good, calm down guys. |

| The Emperor and pals humiliate, and attempt to kill Ren for her disgrace, and she uses that as yet another excuse for how Arrow's really the evil one for making them abuse her like that. So she goes running right back to them, is given a new wingier mech, which, shock of shocks, becomes the wings for Kai to remove his weakness… next week. Maybe. Assuming Arrow's crippling hand ouchie that sends him into paroxysms of screaming violent pain at the end of the episode doesn't send us off in some other direction. Why are we even defending this country of lunatic murderers anyway? |

| Kai and Ren keeps getting more and more annoying. As expected Ren finally got her briheight and her briheight kind of looked cool untill it merged with Kai's one, meh. Kai's back to normal and he wants to crush Back Arrow so that Shu's dream will be shattered. Jokes on him lol. |

In other words, the process is supernatural or unrealistic, but it's easier to accept under that premise. The whole show is taking quite the turn to worse, with this war between two crazy-functioning nations that I'm supposed to care about as a viewer. I don't know what you will care about, but as for me, I'm enjoying the show a lot lately. |

| Its nice that Kai and Ren managed to bounce back from having lost, will make for a good fight. Ominous end with Arrows' hand going out of control which is something I can relate to every time after a night session with my fap hand. |

| I was actually shipping Ren and Shuu from the start but from where this is going, it will be Ren and Kai... >_< Yup, they tried making it more dramatic than it should be and it also felt rushed in this episode. What will happen to Back Arrow, I wonder... |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
