| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, at least the princess is back in control of his normal self now. And she got to spend some quality time with her friends in the baths. But yeah, action came back full fold again in the second half. It seems everyone has a point to prove on the battlefield. Back Arrow seems more tense in his fight than usual. Pretty typical episode as usual, didn't feel like much really changed for this show. |

It's part one of a battle that is clearly still continuing, so that seems like a very odd phrase. |
| The amount of action during the 2nd half was pretty good, but sure Ren was stupid for trying to explode herself like that, at least Arrow was epic for most of his moves |

| Arrow becoming king would be an interesting twist lol. I hate how Ren is on this self destructive path, and hope that Arrow’s speech to her will get her back to her senses. The war is here and can’t wait to see how it turns out. |

| The first part was pretty meh, a lot of "development" but they really just give no time for emotional scenes (doctor and princess) so it just feels extremely flat and you just dont care. The second part of the episode was honestly extremely fun tho, it focused on the thing the show actually does well, which is 3D action. Great action choreography and direction. I also liked that Ren started the episode calling back arrow a coward and then being called a coward by back arrow ahah, i really liked that dynamic. And, despite the first half, the last conversation between arrow and Shun was actually pretty good, they are by far the best characters in the show (and the emperor also seems like a great villain). Probably one of, if not my favorite episode of the show. |
| Ok, so we see Shu helping that Lotuh scientist develop a Birheight that uses liquid nano particle, but hold on, didn't Shu just nicked 2 of them, so what he gonna do with those BirHeights? |
| The war has started and we got ton of action great action in the episode. I especially liked how Kai was beaten in an unconventional way, hurts him a lot. Back Arrow actually becoming a king of the land sounds really intersting. Would love to see it so he can lead them all to or against whatever is beyond the wall. This war will probably end in next couple of episodes with him becoming king or whatever then they should discover what' behind the walls and I predict show's setting will radically change for the second half (similar to Guren Lagann). The Grandedger looking like a spaceship isn't a coincidence. I also can't wait to see if Arrow will fight emperor Zetsu, or will Fine use her bindwraper and fight him. Both sounds epic and I am sure one of those will happen. |

| The staged kingdom war between Lutoh and Rekka has finally started...may the kingdom won reign supreme in unifying Lingalind. On the one hand, Lutoh creating artificial Bind Warpers as opposed to Rekka just giving Bind Warpers of the same kingdom Conviction, well that's interesting enough. Shu Bi's sugggestion to Back Arrow being king of the Lingalind land, that is a case worth warranting about for the 2nd half of the show. Tsarko said: Oh yeah, definitely giving off those Gurren Lagann vibes.Back Arrow actually becoming a king of the land sounds really intersting. The re-match of Ren Sin, Kai Rhodan, Shu Bi and Back Arrow for the 2nd half of this episode is matching the experience similar to Gurren Lagann (you can even tell where the inspiration came from). Arrow's prospect to prefer life rather than death, if he were to go this route of being king, that is a positive in and of itself. Emperor Zetsu Daidan's power is truly fearsome, though I'd wonder if what he suggested about his hunger provides a hint for a weakness. Probably I'd say, IMO one of the better episodes due to the action. |

| Well, looks like nothing could stop the turmoil of war between the two largest country. Lutoh's side, Princess Fine, ready to took over alone, what the previous second princess personality had when mocking the Rekka's Emperor; by facing the responsibility leading against the challenge of the Rekka's war invitation. While Rekka Emperor himself, Zetsu, pretty sure excited against whatever Lutoh's got in the other side of the battlefield. The old geezer really loved the battle! Well, left aside the exciting way of battle between the two sides of the country. I took it in a summary that the first day of the war can be conclude with everyone side got a fair lose: General Kai and Ren lost in the battle against Arrow. But at the same time Prax also lost there, with the only attack the Rekka's Emperor gave to them. A deuce. Interesting that even Zetsu also forfeited the war time for a while with a dinner excuse. Okay, then, the war shall continue to the next week! So, what happened after then, especially when Shu convinced Arrow to be the new ruler of Lingalind. What an ambitious idea of him, even stealing the two bind warper as a precaution way against that unpredictable war. However, Arrow looked pretty much enjoying his path there, gaining more friends will be his only target. So, yeah, everything will be alright, without a doubt.... |

| Big oofs for Ren and Kai, that's rough buddy. Good episode! The show honestly has some pretty good CG and their 2D animation isn't bad at all either. Damn, so they gonna make Arrow their king. I am guessing there's going to be one big villain that hasn't been revealed later on where by that time Rekka and Lutoh would have aligned through Arrow. Maybe it's gonna be that Polpo looking ass, I don't know, we'll see. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| Boy, the first half of this episode was dismal. A full two minutes recapping the previous episode, then the world's stupidest military strategy session, followed by taking a bath. I really cannot understate how stupid that strategy bit was too. "They'll be attacking us where we're strongest." "Right, so it'll be an attack where we're most fortified, prepared, and expecting an attack." "But since nobody would expect them to attack where we're expecting them to attack, it'll be a complete surprise." It feels like I'm taking crazy pills trying to parse that out. And the less said about friendship baths, the better. Similar goes for the fancy boys yelling about how elegantly they'll be fighting on this beautiful midsummer day. I also guess we're just rehabilitating the mad scientist torturer and his pet ranch of terminally ill teenagers. Which is all weird because the second half of the episode wasn't kind of back to its not-great-but-hitting-the-notes-it-should action bits. I'm likely never going to understand or get on board with the inexplicable raging hard-on that the entire cast has for Shu, but they put a tiny modicum of effort into the action scenes and Arrow himself did a good job dressing down Ren for being a suicidal obsessed lunatic. Not so much with Kai. That side of it probably needed to have Kai actually winning the fight to start out instead of being completely humiliated from the word go. For being the invincible ultimate general or whatever, he sure seems to quite badly get trounced in every one of his fights by being a big, dumb idiot. |

| A very action packed episode. Fine's bloodthirsty other self's insult to the Emperor of Rekka has brought war to Lutoh. The Emperor fights the flight-capable Prax and sends her back to Lutoh as a warning. Back Arrow in his now-flight-capable Briheight and Shu in the Dreadnought work together to magnificently defeat Rekka's strongest and Shu's former friend, Kai. Badass moments outside Briheights as Back Arrow takes a stab through his own hand and punches some sense into Ren Sin. So the Briheights run on "conviction particles" which are actually nanomachines, this is also the same substance flowing under Lingalind that allows ships and other vehicles to levitate. After we previously saw the wall and the ceiling having defenses aimed inward, this is more affirmation that the world is artificial. Who created Lingalind and what could be going on outside? |

| Once warmed up with the charas and the plot, the action seems more fun as well. The Gurren Lagann comparison is apt. Emperor pretty OP as expected from the opening. He owned Prax. |

| Kai and Ren, utterly defeated. lol That was a blast! Back Arrow scolding Ren, that was epic. Another moral lesson from Back Arrow. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
