| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Aoi is right about not being ready for war. Mito has been actively keeping Aoi in the dark about the incoming war, then suddenly expects Aoi to play the part of a wartime queen. Wouldn’t Aoi be better prepared by knowing all of this beforehand? Also, Mito locked up and lectured Aoi for blindly charging into an enemy trap to save Mutsuki. Isn’t this the same scenario with the crew locking down Mito when Aoi was captured in season 1? It might just be a continuous chain of people incapable of self-awareness and learning from past mistakes. |
