| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Time to rid the makeshift Kyoto of the Mimesis and secure the top secret weapon SWITCH needed to aid the LBX mech. Not sure if Riko's memories were ANY useful, but it's there for comedy filler. A tough battle for the 5 girls facing against a horde of Mimesis, and a new transformation sequence just because. The boss temples (of Gold, Silver, Bronze) just simply isn't easy to defeat, but they did it. Even Riko managed to fire a range of success shots, so that's a good improvement. I'm thinking now that the grandma professor definitely used to live in the LBX universe (just as is with Otacross), even the episode title itself (Special Move: Attack Function) is a callback to oldies who watched LBX before. Everything is just cameo for the minority of fans who largely forgot that LBX exists (before anime went mainstream). Well, was that a survival battle that warrants no rest. I wish I had a screenshot of Riko's derpy faces. |

| lmao so the grandma was an armour girl too. it was pretty cool how her lbx armour was samurai themed, but damn she was pretty op; that scene at the end with her dead grandma friends was funny too lol. also those transformation scenes were sick asf, animation was very nice. that is been used lmao  |
| The battle is very tense. Finally, Riko can do it, even it's an unintended shot. But it still able to kill that nemesis after all. Whoa! Even both Kinkakuji and Ginkakuji are different in each world. Grandma is totally awesome. She's an armored girl, she also turns young when transform. It looks like that she is the first generation armored girl or something like that. I've wondered how she survives till now. Maybe, she can use some supernatural power. |

| Well that was one lucky shot at the end, i guess Riko will need a while to get over that one. Now they they got their hands on something nice the question is what are they going to do with it. It's also nice the see Riko getting better. |
| it's episode 6, about time Riko is finally able to hit some things. they should have climbed up and got the device while grandma was shooting, instead they just stared and only started climb the building when cover fire from grandma is gone. Gold Mimesis launched a rain of shots, but failed to hit Riko because of plot armor - best kind of armor. battle at the bridge is like a boss fight, it reminds me of running away from the T-rex in Jurassic park game. looking forward to next week. :) |
| I love the Riko faces this episode hahaha. And that ending... really mysterious but I doubt the anime will explain that part due to lack of time. |

| Wow that old lady turned into a hot and opaf LBX girl. Her LBX was really cool. Seems like she was from a previous generation of LBX girls, proly from the time of Samurais. |

This episode was kind of nuts, the whole section actually. A nice change of pace from the first couple episodes, the whole nest concept was fairly neat. Bronze, Silver, and Gold were pretty cool too. Wasn't expecting anything that happened to happen with the old lady though. |
